I found an Inspiron 2650 dirt cheap at a flea market this past spring. I have since put a new keyboard and a solid state drive in it. I really like it.

I'll never get tired of that installation song. Always gives me flashbacks of Christmas 2003 when we got our first XP machine, a Dimension 2400 from our uncle. R.I.P. Stan LePard.

I have this same exact laptop that I got for free from my teacher back in 2007 and a dell latitude C840 and they are still working well to this day and they are built well and I play games on them and loving it. 😊

My family had a dimension 4600 and a dimension 2400 was the first desktop I ever owned. A latitude d610 was the first laptop I ever owned. I can understand your attachment to dell products. I love and miss XP even to this day. Spent hours on that 2400 in the summer of 04. Thanks for all the awesome vids and streams!!!!

Hey nostalgiamall you should make a video on the protoweb. It’s basically the web archive but way less broken and has some live content. Very neat

I have one (and a 2600) who's CMOS battery doesn't hold a charge for long. I'm not looking forward to replacing it because it's apparently on the bottom side of the system board.

My Inspiron 1545 had a restore partition with Norton Ghost. Was that Dell Inspiron 2650 model a little too old for the restore partition with ghost? I think you had to tap a key along with f10 but that was very flaky and sometimes stopped working.

Nope, no restore partition on it. Dell didn't start that until around 2004. I remember my Inspiron 1150 from that sane year having one.
