In this game we play as detective Martini in this AI-driven detective game. We speak into the microphone and the NPS use AI to understand us a reply with appropriate dialogue in real time whilst remaining in character. Some of the AI NPC characters ramble on too much and some are more refined. The game in still in early access so there is bound to be more progress made and some tweaking here and there. Apart from some of the mildly frustrating characters who seemed like they were trying a little too hard, I mostly had fun and I was quite surprised by a lot of the responses. I spoke to many more characters than I had time to include in the video, but I hope I've shown enough for you to get a gist of the game.

In the next episodes of sailwind, you should go and explore emerald, while there try the trade system. Then go to Gold Rock city and it was the last pipe and white tobacco.

If the victims were anything like the living people in Vaudeville then i have already worked out the motive for the murders. I would "love" to hear one AI talk directly to another AI.

Haha! I know what you mean! They were a lil infuriating. I could have edited it to be a more enjoyable watch perhaps. I also wanted to show people what the game was actually like too. Sorry for the late reply! Hope you are well!

It’s definitely a novel idea. I think if they just tweak it a bit so that some of the people ramble on a bit less it’ll be a lot better. They respond pretty quickly. The last person in the video was the best to talk to.

Yeah the initial voice to text does seem to struggle but then the game itself seems to reassess what must have been said with context and usually gets it right. Anyway, the last person I spoke to was probably the best. I think the police chief and the coroner were just fillers at this point and people to roll ideas by.
