1.Chimera on assaults have darker color when they are disabled temporarily. 2.Dante boss in royalguard is free snatch and buster for Nero. 3.Trish can use 3 forms of Pandora instead of the laser cannon. 4.Vergil can explodes his embedded summon swords in enemies by doing the 3 hit Yamato ground combo until Yamato resheath, resetting his teleport target. Good video though...

Watched your dmc3se video yesterday and I must say you are criminally underrated

This was a pretty amazing game if you're not someone who's played the others. I was my first DMC game that I actually played start to finish and I was hooked. I had played the old games aty buddies house but I'd never really gotten deep enough to really hit that flow state where you don't think about what you are doing but like dancing you really focus on rhythm, timing and chains. That said I think DMC 3 was my favorite

That's how spoiled we are, when Nero gets "stale" after a while and since Dante is right around the corner, the jack of all trades and master of all,...yes, as fun Nero is here, he gets float charty. Most other games would dream of having a quarter of a Nero but people play entire Soulslikes or Geralt in the Witcher games over hundreds of hours with not even a fraction of his depth but we here seriously think Nero is lacking. As I wrote, we're spoiled... ^^

FINALLY someone acknowledged the fucking embedding mechanic. 1000% agree this was the most stupid thing they did to Vergil, it literally broke something that had no reason being fixed or broken🤦

41:41 I tried to look up the adaptive difficulty in dmc4 myself but couldn't find anything. How does it work exactly? How many times do you have to die for it to kick in and is it in dmc5?

I don't really like this game. Nero is super fun, but it feels like this game isn't balanced around Dante. Fighting Mephistos or those parasites that latch onto enemies and give them passive attacks (worst shit ever) are just not fun to fight. Some enemies do not launch into the air right away and have strange hitboxes for jump canceling, which was not the issue in DMC 3. Rebellion is the same weapon, gilgamesh is just ifrit and beowulf combined, and Lucifer is kinda gimmicky. Pandora is the only interesting weapon. There are not enough aerial attacks that don't rely on JC, and you have to break your fingers just to do basic stuff from DMC 3. DMC 5, even if it does not have stuff like inertia, is just a better game in terms of its polished combat and insane amount of variety.

Doesn’t DMC 3 on switch let you switch styles? I haven’t played too much of it yet but it lets you keep all your weapons at once so it would make sense to let you switch styles as well. Shame it’s stuck on one platform and can’t seem to just be patched into other versions because it looks like that is the true ultimate version of the game about as close to what the devs wanted it to be as possible.
