For corrosion resistance there is more that you can do. High temperature wheel bearing grease applied very sparingly to the surfaces of the caliper housing will prevent rust and keep the caliper in great shape. First apply with an old toothbrush and rub off excess with a rubber gloved finger. The grease will creep right up to the caliper piston boot and prevent rust in that critical area. Same goes for outer exposed edge of the brake rotor that is exposed to all the road salt. This can be done with all the components assembled as part of a yearly tire rotation. Just take an old tootbrush with a little high temp wheel bearing grease and carefully coat the outer edge of the rotor taking care not to get it on the brake surface. Go over with a gloved finger and wipe any excess away. It will creep a small amount to keep the surface rust free and will not affect braking. The wheel bearing plate should also be coated with a thin film of grease so the rotor does not corrode into the wheel bearing mount. And yes before you put that tire on, coat that nice clean surface where the tire mounts so the next guy can get the tire off and the wheel runs true.

Just found your channel and wow you're a great teacher. Very good info. Would you have any ideas why my abs light, brake light, and traction control lights are lit on my 2013 Ford Fusion SE 1.6l? I have zero dtcs on Forscan, new pads, rotors, and greased/cleaned everything. For some odd reason , all the lights turn off when I engage the electronic parking brake and turn back on after about 15seconds from disengaging. If i start driving immediately after turning the epb off, the lights stay off tell I stop fully. Thanks for the great videos

Usually cheaper to just replace brake rotors and or drums rather than machine them . Besides once they are machined they will warp faster and easier .
