If you need a dieting plan for weight loss this video is going to give you everything you need to know.
When most people start a diet for weight loss they radically cut calories and/or eliminate their favorite foods from their diet to lose weight as quickly as possible.
Not this time.
This dieting plan for weight loss is sustainable. This dieting plan for weight loss is completely individualized to you. And this dieting plan for weight loss allows you to enjoy your favorite foods while continuing to lose weight and achieve your goals.
Any diet for weight loss that doesn't allow you to enjoy your favorite foods will inherently be short-term. And what's the point of losing weight if you're going to gain it all right back?

You and I are going to drink a lot of coffee together. Like, borderline dangerous amounts of coffee.
So, first things first. Pour yourself a mug and I’ll introduce myself real quick.
My name’s Jordan - but everyone calls me “J” - and I’m a 27th degree black belt in chugging coffee.
I’m also strength & nutrition coach, I hold several powerlifting world records, and I’ve been fortunate enough to have my writing featured in a variety of outlets like CNN, the Huffington Post, and Schwarzenegger.com.
But listen.
This channel isn’t for fame, publicity, cash, props, fist bumps, likes, pings, pows or whatever else there is.
It’s a place where you and I can chat.
I’ll never sugar coat, lie, or beat around the bush. I’ll tell you everything exactly as I see it. Some stuff you might like. Others you might not.
And that’s totally cool.
Either way, my goal here is to create a discussion. A place where you and I can get together, exchange ideas, and motivate each other to be better every day.
Like I said, we’re gonna drink a lot of coffee together - borderline dangerous amounts - but I’m excited. Because there aren’t too many online communities in which the sole purpose is to inspire and motivate one another.
And that’s exactly what you and I are going to do here.

I never though I could lose weight eating 1800 calories a day but that’s what your calculator said I committed to do it 90 days. I started Feb 3 it’s may 10 I’m down 29lbs!!! Thank you so much Jordan!!!

Your goal weight must be the same as mine. 150? When you stuck to the 1800 calories a day, were you eating 150 grams of protein? I could easily eat 1800 calories but not that many grams of protein.

I did this for 90 days, and counting, completely consistent, and I am down 45lbs, and retained a lot of muscle. This guy isn't an idiot.

Ok and in all seriousness- I’m 2:50 in and crying. Every program I’ve tried has been like “you won’t even be able to eat all of your food you’ll be so full”, “it’s SO easy!” Thank you for telling it like it is- tough love. I needed to hear this today. It’s going to be hard. It just is, but I can do it.

I greatly appreciate this video. I went to a weight loss clinic and was given an appetite suppressant which has made me literally never hungry so I am only eating maybe 1 small meal a day and working out yet when I get on the scale... nothing. I almost gave up until a friend recommended that I follow. I’m going to give this a chance.

Currently working on the “stop rushing it” part of making fat loss suck less. I’m pushing myself to stay consistent during a time that also requires patience. This is exactly what I needed. I have pcos, but lost 17lb thus far. Lost about 6% body fat as I gained muscle from being at a calorie deficit 💪

Great video, seriously this is so important. But I love more videos geared towards people who have already counted calories and already have a basic foundation of nutrition - I think expanding more on those practical ways to make being in a caloric deficit easier and more sustainable without meticulously tracking on an app would be really helpful for a lot of people!

I really recommend The Metabolic Blueprint. I've completed just over a quarter of the workouts and I love it. I like the variety and style of workouts, even the sprints.

The past few days deciding if I should continue the (800 to 1000) calorie diet for another year. Today was my 8 year anniversary. Ive been beating myself up that I failed and didn't get to my goal yet another year. But this plan owned me. As long as I could find the money for the product each month. I was in the game. Ive lost my marbles these past few days. But i keep watching your videos. So simple i just need to get moving. 60 days you say? This is the most down to earth diet planner video i have watched ever...The reason is that you're not compelling to do anything just like eat this, eat that, eat this time of the day, eat this number of meals etc etc... i don't know why i cried but because of my illness, i was fat and i had tried to lose weight as long as i could remember. then, lately, i was sick of everything and started to starved myself. i did lost 35 kg in 3 months but since then, my health has begun to fail. i can't say i gain the weight back as i am still struggling with eating disorder i don't know how to recover but saw your videos on instagram, came here, and you gave me hope now i'm watching all of your videos so thank you i'm really thankful to you 🙏 edit: sorry for my bad english

I could not love this more! Thank you for just being real...honest...cutting through all the BS! Refreshing & inspiring. I needed this to get some motivation back. I was honestly on the edge of just throwing my hands up. The tips to make it suck less are great!! I'm 42 and so tired of starving myself trying to lose 10-15lbs. Honestly, for years I have been trying to understand, fatloss/losing weight. I have been on diets for the past 8 years, barely losing anything. I’ve just stumbled across your profile today and I have watched so many videos, you have literally answered all my questions in the most simplistic way. You have been repetitive about the gbw, calories and protein throughout your videos to lose fat. I am patient and consistent. I eat a ton of fast food cause I’m too tired to prep anymore. I eat between 1500-1800 calories a day. I started at 250 on March 1. As of this morning I’m 237. I suppose I’m dirty dieting, I’m tired and salty, but happy with the results. I also do a lot of cardio, walking on breaks and LONG hikes on the weekend. My goal was to hit 200 by July 1. Now it’s to survive to July 1, jk life is good, glad I found your channel.

There just isn't enough time in your videos to contain all the truths you're exposing! Imagine that all these fancy fitness bands, watches, etc aren't accurate for calories burned during exercise! It’s taken me 2 1/2 years to lose 100lbs. Would I have liked to lose it faster? Yes, however I doubt I would have learned what I have if I had rushed the process. Initially my calories were too low, no set amount but more frequently than not they were 1000-1200, I felt terrible and wasn’t making the progress in the gym i wanted. If I stuck to it I lost a good amount of weight, but then the binges started, I started falling back into old habits. Then I found you and your “you can’t fuck this up” message helped me get back on track after a good 8-9 months of being off track. I started focusing more on protein, learned that I need to be eating more calories (17-1800) a day, I need to eat consistently throughout the day to avoid getting too hungry. I learned to eat foods I love in moderation (except chips, still can’t eat a reasonable amount of those lol), I learned not feel guilty when I have a day when I’m over calories. The process is what has allowed me to learn to eat healthy and in a sustainable way. I look forward to the day when I don’t have to weigh and measure. I also learned that a diet break isn’t as horrible as I thought it would be. I was in a fairly consistent deficit for 8-9 months, I still have 10-15lbs to lose but my mind and body need a break. I was terrified to eat more, I was terrified that I was going to gain weight back, I was terrified that I would fall back into old habits. Almost 2 weeks of maintenance and my weight initially when up 2ish lbs but it didn’t stay, I’m still sticking to the way I was previously eating, I’m feeling great in the gym. Long story short, the journey has been more important than the destination, it’s what’s going to allow me to stay healthy and keep this weight off.

I've lost weight on calorie counting and keto. You're less hungry on keto/low carb on a deficit and need to be less perfect with counting. Calorie counting you can eat whatever you like! But you have to be pretty spot on. That is my experience. Pick your hard but I agree that a calorie deficit is key. Your body won't go into storage if it has everything it needs BUT lower carb for some people can help with appetite control making it less difficult to eat at a deficit.

My goal for 2020 is to successfully do a handstand. I've realized that if keep my goal as losing x amount of kilos, it is really demotivating if I fail. That was the main reason why I left my journey halfway last year. This year I am gonna do it differently. My goals are to be able to do a full pushup, a full chin up and a handstand by the end of this year. I won't be demotivated bcoz I will only fail in these goals if I stop trying. Losing weight is not my primary goal. Making my body strong and flexible is my goal for 2020. If you're going thru a similar journey as me, keep going people. It is difficult but it's worth it. I'm 38 almost 39 and saw a girl from tick tok loss alot of weight and she mentioned you. I've failed at so many plans and I'm just getting bigger. I 100% agree with everything you say on all your videos. I’ve went from 310lbs to 240lbs so far doing what you say. The only subelements I take is protein shakes. I keep track of my calories and protein but also fiber. I walk 4 days a week and lift 3.

The constant focus on "achieving your goals" through patience and a sustainable manner is brilliant. How you reinforce it continually in all your videos and on Instagram means it's constantly top of mind NOT to just try lose the weight quickly and inevitably fail (like I've done in the past). #sortinghatsquad

3 months late but I just subbed. I'm a super picky person when I eat and i happen to love bad food. But I'm on a caloric deficit right now, been eating foods that I like that do better for me, drinking more water, doing modified exercises to make myself stronger, and just eating throughout the day. Another plus is that my stomach doesnt make that terrible noise when I would mostly eat fast food. Thank you!

Love the videos! When I get discouraged I watch them to help keep me on track. One thing I'm struggling with is protein....I'm just not able to get in all my protein in, which I should have 150g and all I tend to eat is half of that. What are the best ways or things to consume to make sure I'm getting it all in?

Man, I can attest to the time aspect. Losing fat just takes a while... For years I've been trying to lose fat with mini cuts of 2-3 weeks. And it worked. But it's so little that you get it back within the same time roughly. So, last year I tried a legitimate cut of 3 months and voilà: I got down to 11% bf, the leanest I'd ever been. And I wasn't even that strict. I just made sure I was in a calorie deficite each of those 90 days. If I happened to pig out one day I simply added one day of cutting to the overall time. And since I kept my protein intake high during that time I didn't lose any strength on my lifts.

I just learned about you from Jennswwjourney and have been binge watching your videos for the last 2 weeks and am incorporating your calorie deficit and protein calculator along with following Weight Watchers where I have lost 46 lbs in one year. I find doing both quite compatible but I realized I was not getting enough calories or protein so I can already feel a difference. The fact that my weight loss had virtually stalled no longer concerns me since I am not in a race. You have given me confidence to press on with the belief that I will be able to maintain what I have worked so hard to achieve. Only 14 lbs to goal but no rush. Thank you Jordan for your caring, honesty, humor and willingness to share! You are a rarity in this day and age!

New to calorie counting. I get hungry, good to know it's normal. It feels good to sit down and eat and really enjoy the food bc I'm actually hungry and haven't been stuffing my face all day. I know I have to increase my protein intake though, working on it. I have kids and I miss baking. Terrified to bake, bc i like to lick the bowls and of course eat afterwards.
