Oh my, I grew up listening to Dion. I have his greatest hits vinyl record album in my collection. I was born in 1948 and was so fortunate to grow up with our baby boomer music. ❤❤❤❤❤

I am 39 and love the oldies I thought that the young ones these days wouldn't enjoy this music but I was wrong and im happy about that Both of us werent around during the time when this music was on the charts etc and yet a few generations still going back to the good ol oldies! Love it!

Yes, that was a common problem - not because of mis-synching but because Dion and the Belmonts were not actually singing - they were lip singing, trying to match what they did in the recording studio to a live performance - and that, if you've ever tried to do it, is not easy. At Dick Clark's Saturday Night show, there were no back up bands so a true live performance was just not in the cards. And yea, love those audience shots here. Note the girls had on the high school uniforms. All chewing gum. The sponsor you know.

Until watching this video at least 50 times in the past month.. my favorite Doo Wop songs WERE.. Blue Moon by the Marcels and Little Darling by The Diamonds.. Not anymore.. this song is just perfection.. the harmony along with the Bass vocals plus Dion's charisma are just incredible.. I would have loved to have been 17 through about 30 years old back in the late 50's early 60's.. the Music/Clothes/Hairstyles and Cars make this the best time to be young and alive!!

Grant Freeman: Don't despair. If you read the comments you'll find that _many_ millennials appreciate this music and speak with regret about not having been part of Dion's era. Young music lovers get a bum rap. They are as capable of enjoying old-time rock 'n roll as anyone. Great tunes aren't limited to the era of their origin.

I lived it. We had the music, cars, and the girls were girls...Not trying to recapture my youth but just enjoy a 50' or 60's CD and cruising in my Vette...During the late 50's and 60's I drove Chevy convertibles and hardtops, most 3 or 4 peed V8's...I even gave my girlfriend (wife) a '57 Ford with a police interceptor engine, that Fairlane 500 would honk....Reading the comments here brought back a lot of memories, thanks.

1958..... Was that Yesterday ? Let's see..... 1958..... I was still in grade school.....back then.... these guys were also young too.... Great group...... They had some some great music out Love singing alone with these songs..... I know them all by heart...... Thanks for sharing a memory......
