I’m tired of gay, bisexual, and trans pride being shoved in everyone’s faces. I don’t care what other people do in the privacy of their own bedrooms, but I do care when they shove it in everyone’s faces. I hate how the establishment pushes gay pride on everyone and treats June as a monthlong gay holiday. I also abhor how Disney celebrates gay pride month as a major holiday and the Fourth of July as a minor holiday. Disney needs to respect the history, heritage, and founding of its home country of America while getting away from its obsession of celebrating homosexuality.

This is why I dumped my annual pass at WDW. Disney isn't FOR me anymore. It's for Portland... San Francisco... New York... and the District of Columbia. It is of the woke, by the woke, and for the woke. The death of Splash Mountain was the last straw for me, so I said goodbye, and left Disney behind forever. Not just the parks, but the cruise lines, the streaming service, the merchandise... even the frozen Disney ice cream bars at the supermarket - goodbye. Disney shall not have one cent on my money ever again, unless... (insert Lorax meme here)

I only visited Disneyland once and it was fully patriotic then, but that was in 1976 and they had a great Bicentennial parade. Many great patriotic decorations as well all throughout the park....perhaps things have changed a smidge since then?

The thing is like last year they rather be LAZY, because that's definitely one factor (they rather avoid labor of changing decor), and disingenuous by keeping up their Pixar Fest banners and last year their 100th anniversary banners then decorate for a few weeks for independence day celebration. Pixar Fest was a failure, imo. Why would they do this when, not including insideout2, their last handful of Pixar films bombed at the box office. The brand is irrelevant now. 100th anniversary was another bust. It confused people. Was it 100 years of Disneyland? Walt Disney's birthday? No it was Disney animation. Maybe they should have called it something different. Still it was a failure. Disneyland is americana and walt made it like that. They also removed the USA float from electrical parade and put in a globalist float. Management is out of touch. Disneyland is an icon of America.

We STILL have a scrapbook that my late grandfather put together of a trip to Walt Disney World that my mother's parents had taken my then-six-year-old sister to during the Bicentennial in 1976. The album was adorned with Disney-themed Patriotic items like cocktail napkins, brochures, you name it...there were even snaps of a parade down Main Street U.S.A. with Mickey and Co. recreating that image The Spirit of '76. Even some ticket stubs from Eastern Airlines. It saddens me that such an innocent time has been expunged by the company in favor of celebrating so-called "Pride Month".

July 4th WAS always one of the best (and busiest) days to visit Disneyland and as a former CM, I can attest to it. I especially miss the 8am-2am operating schedule and special fireworks shows after the first MSEP.

The whole gay agenda coloring in the park is very offensive to the places themselves. If you weirdly want to have an entire month dedicate to people that are no more special than anyone else, that should NOT alter the classical theme of the parks whatsoever. No political affiliations should have say over what is more prominently shown in the places. It's supposed to be fantastical and neutral. Once you pass the main entrance, you entire a world that is lacking in modern world crap. Unfortunately, Disney has gone full stupid in this regard, so let's put pride flags and parades everywhere, as well as crossdressers scarring and scaring kids. I thought the idiocy up in Ontario and Quebec with June was crazy, Disney does it 24-7 now, or so it seems. I think the boat has gone too far off coarse for the company that it making money isn't what they want anymore. It's just ideological destruction of no only itself, but any franchise that sadly falls under its sway, all thanks to the DEI cult. I'd love to see exactly where, who and when this whole insane situation started 12 or so years ago, and by that, I mean the pinpoint of movement that has caused the infiltration of these insidious people into the various media corporations to initiate the systematic wrecking of everything in entertainment. It really feels like some background group is manipulating the DEI cult for its own nefarious deeds in the destruction of media on all fronts in order to dumb down the populace even more that it already is. Why? Absolute control over the masses on a ground scale, more so than what it is now.

Just got back from Disneyland. several patriotic displays including the lowering of the flags, military songs, marine corps band. A few displays around and a 4th of July fireworks display. No there were no buntings because they’re all done up for Pixar fest right now,

So I’m not happy with what Iger is doing to the Disney company and I wish that bunting was put up for the 4th. HOWEVER, Disneyland isn’t completely skipping over the holiday. They’ve had patriotic themed merch available for at least a few weeks now which include, a Mickey Loungefly with him in a Stars and Stripes outfit, Stars and Stripes Minnie ears, a Mickey holding an American flag tshirt, some less obviously patriotic items like red and blue Mickey and Minnie mugs, and a fireworks tshirt with a bunch of the different characters. I want to say I saw someone post a patriotic spirit jersey on one their socials the other day too but I can’t find it. Also both DCA and Disneyland are doing special nighttime shows/fireworks for the 4th. Could Disneyland have done more? Sure. But to say they are skipping the 4th isn’t quite true either.

@@phongpit The last update we had for American Heartland was that vendors started filing for liens against the property because the company hasn't been paying the contractors, and they owe millions... Mainly because they haven't been able to raise the "2 Billion" they claim they need. That park is never going to happen.
