The fact that this attraction lasted about 2 years only to be replaced with a far more impressive one that is much more deserving of the title "Train of Tomorrow" is a perfect example of how, as Walt put it, "Disneyland will never be completed". :)

The world is so fortunate that Walt Disney took a huge personal risk to build Disneyland! He was a genius.

David, He knew that Disneyland would always be changing when he said, "Disneyland will never be completed as long as there is imagination left in the world." I think he would be happy to see that some things in American society are better today than in the 1960s, but saddened that society still suffers from some of the same problems of hatred, inequality and racism. He would be furious that his dream experimental city EPCOT, was never realized. Like me, he'd be upset that the Golden Horseshoe Revue is gone, as well as the Tahitian Terrace Restaurant, (both too politically incorrect). As far as Star Wars Land, Walt Disney would be thrilled that there is still such a huge demand and acceptance of his theme park idea and that the company continues to follow his mantra of cleanliness and wholesome family entertainment that is still enjoyed by children and adults alike from all over the world.
