@@Mamahuhu - Mamahuhu - well the video is super-funny, I laughed continuously at each moment of the "new friend group" revelation, but at the same time, I'm wondering; is Carl abandoning his old friend group because they're too hard-headed and won't change "for the better" (i.e. vegan, low CO2 FP, play instruments) because it's something he learned from living in Chinese culture? Or is it just his American way? That's the thing that is sorta confusing me here: is this more an expat-foreigner thing, perhaps adapted from Chinese social parody, as the video title/this channel might suggest seem to suggest? Carl's friend/friend's wife seem to be naive to this, I personally would believe most people are, and perhaps, good for them? Thanks for asking 🙂

No, when he says expats he means expats, not immigrants. An immigrant is a person who intends to permanently reside in a different country. An expat is not neccesarily intending to stay permanently.
