@@prashil.a7140 Aight I'm ready. First off, I want to have a disclaimer: This is not me bashing on Shailene as an actress, I love her work and I think she is very talented. Now that that has been said, I shall begin my reasoning. 1) Tris in the book is described as being extremely short and skinny. Shailene Woodley is 5'8' and not as skinny as Tris is described in the novels. 2) Tries in the movie is a very shy person. She is a doormat. Tris in the books would have never let someone run her over like movie Tris does. 3) In the books, Tris is described as looking young for her age. Shailene does not look younger than 16, the age Tris is for the entire trilogy.

This is one of my most fave scenes from this movie... I dont know if its cuz of her comment of, "I didnt think you were afraid of anything" and his facial expression, but its my fave. Music suits it well

I might get blasted for this but I’ve always found Four and Tris’s relationship better developed than Katniss and Peta. Shailene Woodley and Theo James deserved better direction, as they literally are their characters.

@ThisIsPhoenix. As a matter of fact I am. Katniss is one of my favorite characters in all of fiction. Jenifer Lawrence portrayed her perfectly. Shailene Woodley was perfectly cast as well, literally there was no one else that could portray her better. Admittedly while Tris and Four did fall in love quickly, there was just something about the couple that made it believable. Peta, while a nice guy seemed more interested in Katniss than she did with him. Tris automatically took a liking to Four and he was very protective of her. Not to mention that after Four trained Tris they became closer and she even broke his mind control. I’m not trying to say in anyway that Katniss is helpless as her impressive archery skills demonstrate, however if one takes that bow away I believe that Tris would have an easier time protecting herself. Katniss had a far better story than Triss though. Tris’s story was very tragic after book 1, whereas Katniss story while sad, had a somewhat happier ending. These are all just my thoughts though
