This is a great interview! One thing that scares me about investing in TSLA is the increased possibility of me trying to do it again with another company like it - which is historically not good (well at least for me HA!).

I'm gonna pump money into the S&P 500, hold (and not fund) my individual Tesla stock until it joins the S&P. Then sell that individual Tesla stock to avoid funding it and having no other choice but to sell Tesla individually later on down the road.

You guys were great! I think dividend investing and growth investing both have a place and I do a bit of both, but people tend to get caught up in emotions more with growth investing, so I think you’re right that for beginners dividend investing could generally be better

I'm writing this before the video starts so this opinion isn't influenced by your debate. My limited experience has lead me to believe that dividend investing is safer, easier, and more consistent than growth investing. However, growth investing if done right growth investing can bring in bigger returns quicker than dividend investing.

So if your just starting out what would you recommend on a 100$ per week investment. Spread it out over a bunch of stocks or start focusing on a couple. I know I really want to focus on reality income because its monthly dividends payment can help with growth.

Nice interview man! TSLA is definitely going up up up long term (just like AMZN already has, just like FB and AAPL already will). My issues with TSLA are self inflicted... selling at $480, buying back in at $1490 selling at $1600 when I would've been better off just holdng it from when I first purchased last year until now. Do not try and time these stocks!!
