Quick tip when using the plasti-dip if you do have over spray or its not thick enough as Mike was saying rubbing alcohol and clean rag or paper towels cleans it's up really good! I just finished painting my 5 gal shrimp tanks works great!

Thanks for the awesome videos Mike, thery are very helpful. One quick question: would the plasti-dip be safe to use on the inside of the tank- to coat a diy pvc filter?

+KtownDanio Thank you! I really wouldn't trust it. Its hard enough to find paint or silicone that is aquarium safe.lol I would image there are some nasty chems in this stuff. If you need to resort to paint... Krylon fusion(cured) is fish safe.

Thats stuff is great I have friends that did there rims. They have different colors too. Maybe it has a different name but its the same thing Rubber.

I did forget there are other brands at homedepot. It was kinda glittery and I chose not to use again. I did the whole truck and my wife's rims. Very impressed. Thanks for watching!

Hahahaa nice video I'm glad you didn't spray the little one 😂 I don't think the wife would have been happy at all 😂😂 I ised to help my dad spray cars when I was a kid it's really good fun 👏👏👏 this is the same method used in applying a spray tan 😂😂😂😂 hahaha wonder if you could use this on your body lmao it would be fun peeling it off 😂😂😂😂 excellent video Mike 🤗

Thank you! I breed as a hobby and what I make makes up for some of the investment. I own a lawn care company and try to dedicate my weekends to maintenance and youtubin.

for anyone that doesn't want to spray or wants a real cheap background take some aluminum foil and get it nice and smooth on the back of the tank. I've done this on a few 5 gallons and it looks pretty decent

Lol I don't think anyone can top that. It's almost free. Just have to be careful with reflecting more light then you want.

They do sell a different brand at Home Depot but they are around the same price. You might like the other brand flexi dip. Their blue was kinda glittery. Don't know if you into that or not. Either brand will run $6 - $8 a can. I get it for $6.60.

Ok. Best thing I can recommend for your tap is Seachem's Prime. Watch my simple routine water change vid. I show the bottle in that vid. That product will remove the chlorine, chloramines, will detoxify ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate. So if you have a spike from any of those later you can save your fish. Do you know the nitrogen cycle? And last thing... You must know the ph of the tank and the tap. Do you have a ph test kit? Any fluctuation more than .3-.4 ( in my opinion)can shock sensitive fish and make them susceptible to secondary infections.

If you have a lowes, they carry it. When I sprayed my Ram I bought gallon cans from dipyourcar.com and sprayed through a gun. They sell the cans but of course there is shipping.

Dope ...but black limo tint works better....and if you want colors they sell color tint too,also cloud Frost Windows art from Home Depot ...a lot cleaner lines and none of that spray crap

Lol! I have two. 1 in the garage and 1 in the back yard. I have a couple of vids that I shot in the beginning but they don't seem to get views. I love my ponds and will be digging a 2000g in a couple of months. I'll start including more of the koi ponds.

i realy like your videos im new at this and need a littl help i got 2 angel fish 3 bala sharks 2 kissing fish 4 cleanning fish and 3 little neon fish in a 55 galon i have a ten galon tank with 4 taiger fish because they where biting the other fish my ? is how can i clean the tanks with out killing my fish witch i realy love i only had them for a month i would realy appreciate it thank my name is danny

+daniel marlene baez you really need at least a short tube that will make your life so much easier. Ill have to shoot a video on the basics. Have you tested your water and what kind of water are you using?
