Great book. Read it as a SF Masterwork. One of my favourite books that translate past issues with Humankind, and the grand subject of Identity/emotional identity and more. They also turned the novel into a Graphic Novel and that was fantastic. Blade Runner was a great film, but the book it was based on, I believe, had more heart and soul to it.

There's part of me that wishes Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep was published separately, and then there's another part of me that likes it how it is. I'm happy with mine, although I would have preferred a less glossy, off white paper stock.

My copy arrived and I'm very happy with it. Archer's illustrations are even better when the book is in your hand. I agree with you about the paper. It's almost a card stock and takes your eye a moment or two to adjust to the brightness of it. There is some reflection, but not significant or distracting. despite appearances it's not glossy. With so many excellent PKD scholars out there, it's a shame there isn't an introduction ahead of either novel, but the fact you're getting two key novels together back to back like this is a terrific deal. I really like this edition and I'm very glad I picked it up. Ubik is in the mail.

I'm on the fence about this one. I've read Do Androids Dream of Electric sheep twice, but I'm not sure about the books being upside down of each other in volume. I'd rather if they were two separate books in one slip case.
