My thoughts exactly! Bring food, blankets and warm clothing! They know the poor baby is laying in a manger filled with hay. In a barn. Personally, I have actually laid on hay in a barn and people, it ain’t comfortable. It pokes you and scratches you and isn’t warm at all. I can’t imagine having to wrap a newborn in rags and lay him on this scratchy crap as a bed. But no! The three Wise Men brought precious metals and perfume. And THAT, ladies and gentlemen, is why no man has been in charge of picking the gift for a baby shower for the last 2000 years!
