If anyone is on the fence about buying the paid lessons, do it! And here's why: I am a SpanishwithPaul youtubevideo watcher for over a year and am now a paid member. 1. Don't worry, what he is teaching works in Spain too. (I live in Barcelona, Spain). 2. His program is laid out beautifully and skillfully where each lesson builds onto the next. 3. The categories are broken down into bite size lessons so you can stop when you need and pick back up easily. 4. After a lesson: there are lots of examples helping cement the topic. 5. If you watch his free weekly lessons and don't know if you will get anything from his paid membership - yes you will. His free lessons only touch the surface of what this program has. I am kicking myself "Why didn't I start sooner?!' My Spanish has grown more with his lessons than it ever did living right here in Spain. Thank you Paul!

PS for anyone who is considering taking the online lessons I can personally vouch that they work. After having taken five years of college lessons I could not have even remotely considered myself conversationally fluent but after about a year of these lessons I took a fluency exam and am considered conversationally fluent! I have done many of SWP's mini youtube videos in the past few years but I have been enrolled in his online paid membership course for a while now and have put these mini lessons on the back burner. But when I went to do my Spanish lesson online today I couldn't access it (he is doing some updates to the platform and we are all without Paul for a day or so) therefore I figured I would just redo a few old lessons from his free youtube stuff. I occasionally find one that I have never done before or at least have totally forgot. I am currently at Level 6/7 (back and forth and repeating as necessary) in his paid course. All this to say this sweet little lesson is amazing and reminds me that I have neglected the beauty of his youtube lessons. It is reinforcing much that I have learned within his paid course. Thank you!!

Love your course, I'm wondering if there's any difference in the pronunciation etc in European Spain compared to your teaching in SA.

So what I understand that : I do = hago I did = hice I'm going to do = voy a hacer I can = puedo I could = pude I can ( meaning in the future) in the future we put subjentivo maybe bc the act is still not real = pueda [ subjentivo] Him= lo Her=la Them= Los My best = lo mejor Everyday = cada dia, todos Los dias
