Its been a difficult few months for everyone, but we had really been feeling the lockdown lately. So a last minute decision to meet up and clear our heads turned out to be a great call, and just what we needed.
A great scramble up Birchen Clough, somewhere we definitely hope to lead our walking group "The Herd" along when safe to do so.
To everyone else that might be feeling 'life' at the moment, step outside if and when you can, it really does help.

Me just catching up as usual. A proper matey video. Difficult when you've been apart for so long. Some of the views on this one are stunning. And I love it when the the streams are in full flow. Don't keep doing this to me Sue...04.10. Carry a set of bloody poles woman😱 Just use them when needed. Doesn't do my old ticker any good watching you do this😁 Excellent viewing as always ladies. Did this very walk about 6 yrs ago, and this brought back some memories. Got some pics of where your pit stop was. I live about 10 miles from Dovestones, and recently the flip flop brigade have taken over. It's the same on my regular canal walk.

Hi Paul, it's a lovely walk around the Res so I can understand why it's busy. The higher you go the quieter we normally find, but there was a lot of activity that day. Thanks for watching 👍👍

I loved this, many thanks. I first climbed the Trinnacle aged 12, and later climbed most of the routes there. As teenage lads we once went skinny dipping in one of the pools then had to spend a very chilly half hour in there as dozens of lady ramblers strolled past. 😄 We used to climb the waterfalls on hot summer days.

It was over 50 years ago. The summers always seemed warmer then. We reckoned the ladies were going round in circles knowing we were too embarrassed to get out.

Looks like the waterfall was raging a bit more than it was when my partner and I did this route back in the summer! Got to love a good scramble, a proper adventure! Such a beautiful area

Awesome video, what a brew with a view that was, some epic shots in this, you's are like mountain goats, you'll never find me stood on that trinnacle , looked a really nice hike with some amazing views, nice chill in the hammocks too, take care, all the best 👍👍

Great video as always ladies 🙂. Looks a great area to walk and one I’ve not done before. I did plan to walk over from Crowden in the summer but the path across by Chew reservoir was the king of all bogs so I turned back. Definitely won’t get the flip flop brigade there 😆

We love watching you two, you're a breath of fresh air and happiness during these crazy times. I have a guest house and restaurant in Keswick and would love to give you any help in the future with things to do when you are next up in the layks. We are in Hayfield from 12th April in our Motorhome and would love any tips you may have for us. We're originally from Rotherham so have done Kinder and the lot many times so we fancy something different as we have our hills up here in Keswick, would you recommend the walk to New Mills from Hayfield?
