I mostly doing aerial, which is like a body weight training. It is a lot of pulling and pushing. I also do pilates and Taichi. My heart rate during doing the aerial is very bad, it can swing up to 170. I often run out of breath. And my stamina is very low comparing to other girls in the class. I am glad to know that you at this young age have interest in taking care of your health. I am a 56 y/o male. I increase my stamina by running. I push myself everyday but not too hard. I listen to my body more the doctor. Only you know what your body can and can’t do and how much you can push body before it breaks down. We have different background. I did martial art at 18 and always stay active. I did my first marathon at 40 and have been running as much as I can. I love running. It’s the most fundamental form of exercise. I also do some light weight lifting so that my health and my body will always be ready for anything. It’s always better to check with physician before engaging in any physical activities. Thank you for allowing me to share my experience with you. I wish you a better health and never stop moving. A still body is a dead body. Be well.
