Dremel broken screws off flat, center bunch, pb blaster, soak a while, left hand drill bit, screw extractors gently if they don't come out while drilling.

Hi Aaron. Easier to do this than a full size loco. Caroline

Actually, the full size ones are far easier. I've done quite a few.

They're probably less nerve-wracking! You actually have standards and prescribed procedures for a full sized loco. The best I can get is armchair boilermakers who are silent before I start and quick to tell me I've already ruined it after I've gotten into it. This has been the most frustrating loco to work on yet.

Good work so far if you keep this up it will be done in like in 1 or 2 years until it fully restored and ready to go

Ive had to drill/tap threaded holes on some of my hobbies, it can get interesting, as well as frustrating, especially with tiny screws on HO scale trains............with larger fasteners on lawnmowers, etc, its not quite as nerve-wracking🤔😵😨❗

Looking at the boiler tube the ends look rolled over rather than soldered. Are they all soldered or just the replacement tube?

They are all soldered.

If it were my engine, I would get a swedge or roller tool and roll the tube. Silver solder you will keep chasing tubes you unsolder/ compromise.

I've been told by guys who have repaired copper boilers that you don't want to swedge the tubes when you have copper sheets.

I don't think you can remove the tubes as in the last video. They should be replaced by th3 same size of tubes. Making the hole bigger than the original will leave a weak point in the boiler, where it will explode. In the UK, a pressurised boiler inspector would condem this boiler. You are dealing with steam at pressure, which can seriously injure or, worst case, will kill. I know that getting a steam engine boiler costs to do it properly and insure, but safety comes at a price. Like your videos, but what you are doing is not safe.

Spot on. Dimensional uniformity is key.

I'm not replacing all the tubes. Just the one. If it doesn't work, I'll have a scrap steam engine on my hands. I may already have a scrap steam engine. No pressure.

If it had been done correctly, you would have had a going steamer.
