HIS FIRST INDEPENDENT DRIVING TEST! I've been teaching my FIRST TIME learner driver little brother how to drive a manual car on PUBLIC ROADS so that he can pass his driving test. However, I had to take control of the car several times as he had trouble steering and driving in this test 😂 Do you think he's ready to pass his driving MOCK test next? 👀

This series is hilarious but unfortunately Juvenal is never going to pass. The whole point of an instructor is to teach you HOW to pass a test, once you pass your test basically throw out everything you’ve learnt like your steering and parking and looking at your mirrors 24 million times a minute. Hope he gets some real lessons before he goes for his test 😭

Still no blind spot check, no mirror checks, steering on the opposite side of the road at junctions, poor speed judgment, poor planning. At least ten serious faults and 50+ minors. Even if you gave another 50 lessons he still won’t pass. Great series thou, hilarious 😂

One thing I've picked up on during this series is the lack of communication from your brother, understandably, driving is scary as a learner and requires full attention, but he needs to tell you why he made a certain move, what he's seeing, how he's assessing the situation, what he's seeing in his mirrors, this will also allow you to adapt your teaching to his needs/ see where he's at.. it'll also allow your brother to understand where he's going wrong and fix it instantly.

He has come a long way! But the lack of observations is anxiety provoking 😮 if you want him to pass his test he needs to really learn hazzard awareness . His steering has imroved and his turns but he could really benefit from

Your Bro needs to push the gearstick with his palm towards the passenger seat when changing from 1st to 2nd. Then he won't ever go from 1st to 4th by mistake, rather than grabbing it from the top, which makes it naturally want to go to 4th because of the spring. Simple things like this instil confidence, and confidence is what driving is all about.

he’s honestly so much better than he used to be now - it seems like hes more confident with the car controls so can actually focus on where he is driving making himself much more aware and able to react to hazards

He’s not like a normal learner driver, he’s not going down his gears properly, taking any observations or even indicating correctly. And almost every time he changes gear he’s looking right at the gearstick. These are habits you’re not ironing out. You’re creating a driver with no ability to observe or tell others what he’s doing.
