We've kept you waiting, but we are finally back with our Ducati Panigale V4 SP2!
First of all, thank you all for sticking with us through these builds 🙌
We've seen some amazing progress with the Motomillion R1M, and were very pleased with the power numbers it put down.
So now, we are shifting gears and will be putting in some work on the SP2. Today, we are taking it to the dyno to get those baseline power numbers. The Panigale V4 SP2 is completely stock. No flash, no exhaust, no air filter. But with these numbers we will be able to see the exact gains that we make once all the power mods are on.
You'll see us spill the beans on what exhaust we will run in the video 👀

Hey Mani you have such beautiful bike’s you all seem like such great people. I always love watching your videos there always so great. Love all the bikes you do with all the parts from you the bikes always look so incredible and so gorgeous. You have a beautiful Ducati really love it and I also love the BMW. Once you put the exhaust on and filter I say 210hp at the wheel .. love the Ducati SP2 such a beautiful bike minus the balls frying from the heat while riding it.. 😂😂😂

I expected atleast 214-215hp because the R1 did 198-199...The R1 is looking great now because it cost a lot lesser here than the Ducatis

The Duke is killing the Beemer at real-world revs (10k), especially torque-wise. It'd be really noticeable on a fast road ride.

Can’t wait to see the figures on the SP2 once you’ve done the exhaust and filter. Which exhaust are you going for? I was tempted by the Termignoni D200 but went for the low-exit Akrapovic due to warranty concerns and it should be with me next week. Less weight on the low-exit compared to the high-exit and I think the tail looks neater without the wheelbarrow exhaust.

That warrantee thing is a myth. As long as your dealer installs the exhaust and map, it's covered. Ask them.

@@sp00ky1969 My dealer had zero issues with installing my Termi system on my V4SP. Try another dealer. Check to see if there is a consumer protection law preventing manufacturers denying warrantee claims based on modifications. The Termi pipes are much better in terms of aesthetics, sound and performance.

@@Motomillion that’s good. If I may share a short story here. I wish I had learned 20years earlier. So hope it can help others. I always loved petrol engined things including tools where possible. I was able to be tested for carbon monoxide levels in hospital just because a friend needed it and they kindly aloud me to have a go also (❤️NHS) They said my levels were a bit high and do I exercise near busy roads. I said nope but I was using a petrol engined hedge cutter but that was the day before. They said yep that will do it and it takes time to clear your system of it. I always use electric or battery versions of the tools now because I’m never giving up motorbikes so I have made improvements where I can👍❤️🏍️ Ps for Dyno guy to get some retractable ducting with as powerful as possible extractor and then ducting placed close or over exhaust ,will make him and everyone else live as long as possible.👍🏍️

Panigale V4 Sp2 is rated at 215.5 plus an additional 12hp with the race exhaust.

So the Beamer has ca 230 hp@crank! Thats more than the V4R. Lots of bang for the buck and easiest bike to ride fast, street or track! Amazing tool, german engineering is the best like always:) But Italian bikes have a soul and look sexy

The RSV4 is the best bang for buck in my opinion. That thing claims 217 HP at the crank completely stock and comes in at $26k. It’s definitely not the prettiest looking, but that bike sounds great. Also not nearly as reliable as a good ol inline 4.

@@Nick-Edwards The Aprilias are know for the best chassis! Their engines are great nowadays, the early RSV4 had some problems with oil pumps, its an awesome engine nowadays, you are probably right.

So bmw with stacks airbox etc 207, r1 with exhaust only 198. in reality bmw would be only 2-4 HP stronger. Ducati maybe 5-10.

“In reality” is what you see. Not what you think. The BMW has a lot more than just exhaust. It has a full motorsport airbox, intake flapper removal, completely smooth intake. The Ducati will never make more power in stock form when compared to a properly tunes K67 S1000RR. And when you say only 198 for the R1, 198 whp is a very respectable number for an R1.

@@Motomillion maybe i wrote it wrong. But What I mean is that R1 with not really lots of mods is strong. I have the same r1 22, but full Yart and got 201HP, with same mods as one in video. since I live 1, 5 hours away from yart. But agree BMW in this case is not that much stronger then r1. But I have to say since I use it on track. Punch is far better on r1 out of corners then on bmw. But Ducati does accelerate like a train.

R1 200 crank hp, 200 - 10% = 180Hp. R1 did 168hp stock, that dyno is high! Your gains will be true on the SP4 if you finish it on that dyno, this proved that the R1's numbers are invalid until they go back to the other dyno. Sorry, but it's the reality of that situation🤷‍♂

You are completely mistaken. R1 is supposed to be 198 but it is heavily restricted in USA. The US bikes do not have 198hp at the crank in stock form with all their restrictions. Euro bikes are another story. Plus the r1 probably has more drivetrain loss than an SP2 that has dry clutch, 520 chain and carbon wheels from factory.

@@Motomillion Eh we'll just have to agree to disagree, even your guy said that was a high stock number. The theoretical 12 HP difference would bring it in line with what they've been making. I love the R1, always have, but I know they don't make ZX10 and S1K HP, they just don't have the motor, never have. Thanks for the response, I'll leave you alone now🤗
