Sorry for the delay uploading a vid . I've had a very busy few weeks working and running around in the van so havnt really been able to move the boat much and the place where I'm moored has a crappy Internet signal. This is the end part of the Gnosall to Market Drayton slog which was a very long day .Hope you enjoy the vlog.

New to narrow boating here in Texas although I’m originally from Michigan where I’ve been boating 3 of the 5 Great Lakes, AuSable River and Detroit River. Been exploring different canal boaters because you all have a different experience. Thanks for the education.

Reckon the CRT need an email or something about getting a baffle on that by-wash. It's a pain in the posterior.

I think putting a baffle on that by-wash is not high on the priority list! If the by-wash is running hard and pins you on the bank, a little trick is to open the top paddles and divert the excess water through the lock and the by-wash will calm down enough for you to get your boat off the bank.

@@Boatdog_Traveller Agree, another person is needed ideally. What I do is get Lock 5 ready and power out of 4 and this overcomes the by-wash. Walk back and shut 4.
