So managed to get away for a couple of nights with my ex, and honestly as much as people may advise against it, it was a refreshing short break that I really needed.
Nice little Air BnB in the English countryside not too far from Hereford

Nice to know you managed to get a break from the household even for if it was for only a small while. As for me I’ve just started full time work and been busy the past week (Easter isn’t celebrated in Japan and I miss chocolate Easter eggs) lol

It sounds really nice that you had such a lovely weekend in a beautiful setting where you could walk and sit outside with your friend, and share your thoughts with her. Hanging around in nature, is imo always positive, and sometimes it's not even that far away. Take care and have a good week 😊

Glad you had a good weekend away, Adam. I know the feeling, though. You feel better for it but you soon revert back to your previous state. ☹️

Sounds like a nice break away! You’ll figure out what needs to be done in order to move out, at least there is a path forward! I like your channel Adam - seem like a genuine guy!

I'm stoked you had a nice break! Sounds like it was nice to have a pause and maybe the next step could be to have some time to find yourself a bit. Like instead of having a pause or a temporary distraction, have some time to yourself and try different things independently. The world will change you, go experience as much as you can.

Hey Adam thank you for sharing and you are definitely looking up beat. ❤ Adam I don't know if your relationship with your lady friend is purely platonic or if it's of the physical type, but unconditional love is all of the sticking through thick and thin regardless as you know essentially you both have each others back, and the removal of barriers to communication through mutual respect and trusting one another is all the potential in itself to draw forever closer together. This will also always have a positive effect on mental health and everyone loves to be "loved", "respected" and "accepted" for who they are as a person rather than meeting demands placed upon them. It is taking the time and effort to get to know who they are, the struggles and triumphs they have had in their lives coupled with genuine respect and admiration for everything they have accomplished coupled with what inspired and motivated them to achieve everything they have in tow. It is knowing and loving their very bones/soul which goes much deeper than skin level and from here true love can blossom if it hasn't already. Everyone relishes being loved, admired and given recognition for who they are at their very core of existence. It is also validation of their true worth and potential which is also a powerful asset in elevating their self-esteem. Unconditional love at this level is all the nutrition, rain and sun all in one that is the essence that makes plants/life grow. Such love is also often reciprocated as they recognise and give recognition for all of its loving and healing qualities in tow. It also brings out the best in those who give it too, as they also learn about themselves and their potential along the way too. It is the ability to align to their emotional needs and recognise when it is appropriate to give emotional support/comfort keeping their emotional security and stability at a healthy equilibrium. We learn a lot about someone through asking all the right questions and watching/observing their reactions in tow, and their reactions/facial expressions often give away their true feelings towards us as they do so. It may all sound complicated, but there is no need to over think it. All that matters is genuine interest in who someone is at their core, and notice how it removes barriers in communication as they become more relaxed in the process. Adam I am guessing this break was a breath of fresh air from the four walls you normally have to occupy. Perhaps it was equally as pleasant for your lady friend. Why not share the positive impact your time together has had on you and suggest another break, but perhaps a venue of her choosing this time. It is showing you "valued" and "appreciated" the time you had together, coupled with a "unpressured" keeness of doing the same again at a place etc. of her choice, letting her sub-consciously know you are placing her welfare above your own. Adam I hope this has been of some help etc. Peace and respect Brother. ❤❤

Regarding overworking at a part time job, is it possible to redirect the other half towards opensource development? It could grow your ability to be a consultant if you got a portfolio of stuff you can help other business adjust as needed. Plus means you are not donating your extra effort to a private entity. (And is also a networking opportunity for you to meet other potential helpers)
