Thanks for the update. It's great to see how fast it is being built. I like it when you go back to the same area every month or two, it shows how fast it'ss coming along. You have excellent narrative information and facts about the area. Great Job, keep up the good work!

At the 2023 "Evening with the Developer" event, the Morse family enthusiastically (but briefly) discussed Eastport. They plan on having a European atmosphere with stores or restaurants in alley ways. On major holiday weekend events expect the roadway to be closed to allow the crowd to expand across it. This will be something no one has seen. Interesting tidbits also include Mark Morse stating "more softball games are played in The Villages each year than in all of Major League Baseball. "We planted 1.7 million annuals last year" was another zinger..

The dirt bridge to sunset island is only temporary for construction, once it is completed that bridge will be removed to connect the entire lake.

Interesting. I wonder which way the bands will be oriented - if they are facing Sunset Island, will people have to watch from those concrete steps, between the palm trees? If they face the opposite way, then everyone on Sunset Island would be looking at the backs of their heads. I guess we'll just have to wait and see how it all ends up.

We should be able to see soon by the layout. Sawgrass Grove faces away. I think this will face the south east

Wonder if Olympia Rec Center will have the rock climbing walls. It appears to have a higher roof line than the others.

It's funny you said Sunset Island resembles a guitar to you. My wife thinks Central Lake looks like an upside-down umm, uh, err, let's just say she calls it Di(k Lake.
