Wondering if simply lengthtening the four leg pieces will make it a taller chair. Saw this at Costco and it was low, not too easy to get up out of - any thoughts

I cut and assembled everything the same was that you did. Mine has a 2" gap in the seat and back. Why?

My brother in law is 6’ 4’ and they hold him comfortably. I would imagine they could hold at least 300lbs

The weight is distributed on the 4 legs which are at an angle and joined with steel treading so they have a basket effect when you sit down so the weight is spread out. Maybe 300 is a stretch but I haven’t had one break yet

The price of lumber is constantly changing so you will need to price it from the list at the beginning of the video and then add on the cost of the screws and everything else needed. It's really hard for someone to tell you the cost on something like this when the prices can change from week to week!!! I would watch for a sale and buy it then if possible!!!
