There are many types of food that I miss from Malaysia, among those is a simple Malaysian Nasi Campur. It is comprised of steamed rice, and is served with a variety of side dishes such as: Fried chicken, fried fish, variety of curries, fried vegetables, fresh herbs, fried eggs, loads of freshly made Sambal etc. So with this recipe, I'm going to share a few of my favourite side dishes with you. A rather long video, so, I'll break it into 3 parts. I'll start with Telur Dadar, a Malaysian-styled Omelette.
Telur Dadar Recipe (Part #1)
4 Large Eggs
1/2 Medium Sized Yellow Onion
1 Red Chili
A Big Pinch of Sea Salt
A Big Pinch of White Pepper
1/4 tsp Anchovy or Chicken Powder (Optional)
Vegetable Oil, for frying
