Viewers please check the clock setting at the beginning and end of the video. It starts at 8:36 and ends at 8:36. He didn't change the time at all.

Unless it's just me, this doesn't work anymore, at least not on my 2007. You can change the time, but the clock on radio/HVAC display doesn't change. What a pain.

We have the same model MDX and the same software, and in summer 2022 for the first time ever this process no longer works. It looks like we are resetting the time, but the time always stays the same. Another problem is that not only is the hour wrong, but month by month the minutes drift a little bit off too. It is interesting to hear this may be a software bug. I assumed that was so likely it was basically impossible.

I’ve done this procedure 25 times and it keeps resetting to 12:00. I cannot figure out how to fix this.

Ditto for me, I had to disconnect battery for some maintenance work and after that the the GPS (I have Navi) wasn't setting the clock like it always does, Manually setting it and it goes back to 12 like you all are experiencing. I have a 2008 MDX Tech. Looks like we hit a Software-Date bug.

Okay recently we have to forward the time in Chicago and I having the same issue I have to go through the process about 20 times and I cannot fix the problem honestly I don’t know if there is solution🤯

@@jasminsavinon6884 this is a glitch in the system I called Acura they're working on a repair but there is no way to do this on a 2007 Acura MDX at this time because of an issue with the calendar in the system

y2k22 bug causes older Honda accura clock/dates to revert to the year 2002 and no fix until August of 2022

Disconnect your battery terminals and reconnect exactly at 1pm or a couple minutes before. It will automatically reset the clock to 1pm when you reconnect the battery. This is the only way I've found that actually works.
