Nikola Tesla used Impulses for his advanced research into Electricity.
The quenced sparkgap capacitor discharge was first used and explained in his lectures. But less known is his method of useing coil discharges to produce impulses.
This video shows and explains how this can be done efficiently.

How would you modify this circuit to produce a faster rise in voltage, max(dV/dt), on the front side of the half wave?
@MasterIvo
@MasterIvo Жыл бұрын
great question. I think the solition for this is a bit complex, but I am building it. the voltage impulse is used to create a dc offet on the primary coil. this takes several impulses to charge up. once charged up, a pair of parallel MOSFETs is turned on, shorting the dc to ground. turn on happens at the voltage impulse maximum. In result, we are left with a current impulse. which is the first half of the voltage impulse. this means it creates a single direction displacement current. this method should have many benefits. but first I need to test if it all works. the voltage impulse is to be tuned to the L4 extra coil resonant frequency.

I’m really asking how would you use a peak trigger to turn on the mosfets, generating a max(dI/dt), on the front of the half wave. Just found your channel. Looking forward to exploring applications of the circuit!

To generate power it is the strength of the magnetic field and the rate of change of the magnetic field that gives the output. Pulsing a coil has a problem in the back emf that is produced and the current does not reflect a relative increase in magnetism. When a current flows in one winding of a two winding coil and a pulse is sent into the other winding, that is with the current in the opposite direction, the magnetism changes immediately. The magnetism will first collapse to nothing and then reverse polarity. If the opposite ampere turns are greater there will be a polarity change with high voltage as the currents decrease. This is the way to produce a strong magnetic field and to change it rapidly as a generator requires. The resulting voltage in both windings is very high and other inductors, diodes and capacitors are needed to isolate the supply. @MasterIvo

Hello Ivo, I've been following your work for some time. I too have been researching the radiant energy effect, using standard axial coils of many designs. I've been at it since 2009.. I built a rather large, flat pancake coil using copper ribbon conductor in 2017. The copper dimensions are 6.35mm X 0.5mm thick. I used virgin teflon dimensioned at 12.7mm X 0.25mm thick as an insulator. It was wrapped as two, separate conductors, then terminated in the bifilar configuration. I did not build it as a Phi ratio coil, I didn't know about it at the time. The dimensions of the final coil are are 114mm I.D. X 265mm O.D. and weighs 2.16Kg. It's a whopper! I also put a 2.5 turn primary around the outside. The purpose of the construction was to investigate the original Tesla magnifying transformer configuration. I used spark and capacitive discharge excitation. This setup produced very high secondary voltages, even though secondary is only 84 turns total. But I changed course after experimenting with it for some months to exploring the mysteries of asymmetrical coils. I've been on that path for 4 years. I was fascinated at the incredibly high Q factors such configurations produced. But after a while, I found that the resonant 90 degree phase shift relationship that all those coils had accounted for virtually no useful power. They were all cosine coils and although fascinating, were not useful for power generation to any extent. I rediscovered your channel recently, and found the topic of stacked, pancake coils very interesting. Especially the use of speaker wire, which will produce electrostatic vectors in two directions. The standard radial field, 90 degrees to the magnetic field AND a field in phase with the magnetic vector. I built 3 smaller coils and used the Phi ration to set the ID and OD dimensions. All 3 are measuring the same to +/-0.3%. That is 115uH and 22nF as measured with my LCR meter at 100Khz. I am finding some of the same mysteries as you are posting. The dimensions of these coils are 57mm I.D. X 150mm O.D., wrapped with 16AWG speaker wire, which is very close to 1.5mm^ conductor. I would like to share pictures with you, but pictures cannot be posted here. If you are interested, an email I can be reached at is cpierce22@cox.net. Contact me and I'll send them your way. Thank you for re-igniting my passion about this investigation! I would also like to share what I am seeing about phase relationships and gain factors that are strangely high. You are free to post and share any info I share with you. I believe in the open source aspect of co-development.

Great video Ivo! This is the most comprehensive video that I've seen you make so far. I like how you showed that you can redirect the back EMF Spike from the coil. I think that was the key to what Ed gray was doing with splitting the positive. It's the same thing I attempt to portray in my resonant charging video. The higher the frequency the more you're going to get coupling to the vacuum to produce the spikes. Nikola Tesla said that you need at least 10000 cycles per second to get the secondary parts of the energy out. You can see in my demonstrations that I use capacitor discharges along with the wireless energy discharge that's occurring at the same time. You can basically recharge your system while at the same time powering a load. By producing the wireless resonant field of energy which can be tapped into by multiple receivers not just one. Because it is a scalar energy field it can be into at multiple points without draining the input power. This part is free. Additionally you can use the pulses to power light bulbs and electric motors. This way you can put more energy into the system than what you are using. The higher the frequency, the more power you can get out of the circuits interaction with The Ether. Glad to see that you are growing and learning with your experiments. And glad to see that you are freely sharing this with us. I will do what I can to support you from here.

Jeff, I found your post on Science Forums very important "Actually oliver Heaviside based a lot of his electromagnetic theory on the complex scalar waves that Whittaker proposed. Heaviside is thought to be one of the fathers of electromagnetic theory so I'd say Whittakers ideas have some substantiation. And when you look at hal Puthoffs polarized vacuum representation of general relativity, you have the electric flux density as central to curved spacetime. So I'd say that Whittakers paper does agree with relativity. " Would you please share more if you have the time, thanks.

As per your diagram at 7:03, you are wrong. At the end of the coil, where the MOSFET(high side switch) is connected, the coil discharge pulse will be Negative, the opposite of what charged it. So, the body diode and the MOSFET will bock it actually. To effectively extract this inductive spike, you need to have permanently connected reverse biased, high speed diodes at both ends of the coil, connected to the capacitor, which is also connected to the diodes in the proper polarity, which can be further switched out for the required purpose.

I think it won't charge the cap until you let the coil ring. The BEMF is always opposite to the supplied voltage therefore every single inductive spike produced will not goes to the cap but to the load if there is any...that is due to the reverse bias of the diode(body diode). And if you let it ring the load and the cap will share the power produced half in each cycle of the wave till it completely dampend. Since you intensionally removed the ringing effect all power(from inductive spike) will goes to your pickup coil/extra coil. Keep it up bro and thanks for sharing such a nice topic.

Is it possible to get this kind of frequency with what circuitry available out there now? If not, I guess I am sticking with doing a wheel added to the center shaft of a Tesla turbine, with 100 or so tungsten pins, quenched gap. When a current flows through a coil a magnetic field is produced. If two windings are wound together and a current flows through each but with one in the opposite direction there will be no magnetic field. The impulse is used to cancel the magnetic field and even drive it into the opposite polarity if one circuit has greater ampere turns than the other. Only wire resistance is seen and large currents flow. As the magnetic field intensity between the two windings increases the currents stop with high voltage. A secondary that is tuned to atmospheric electricity will exhibit a tendency to resonate and a small current will flow to earth. The low intensity magnetic field will change ever so slightly and will have polarity changes. If the primary is intermittently pulsed with a large current of exact timing the magnetic field will change polarity and produce a huge instantaneous current to flow in each half wave. A test can be done on a transformer that shows the link between two windings an input and output is DC equivalent to only 1/2500th of the load. The DC current in the 1350 turns of the 230volt input winding that produces the magnetic field of an 80 watt transformer is 0.9volt X 0.035 amp = 0.032 watt. The ampere turns are about 47.25, 1350t X 0.035 amp. When the opposite ampere turns of the primary exceed the ampere turns of the secondary the result is a reversal of the magnetic field polarity.

Hello, I wonder when you use the energy of the capacitor that stores negative energy of high voltage, which is in parallel to the battery, when it re-osilates in the next cycle the coil does not extract energy from the capacitor but from the battery, due to the lower impedances of the battery, the capacitor was charged with little joules, and it is not enough to feed the coil, it is only a configuration problem, ok thanks
@MasterIvo
@MasterIvo 2 жыл бұрын
why do you think the capacitor has a higher impedance then the battery? I think it's the other way around. the cap was already charged by the battery, and gets a higher voltage from the halfwave of the coil. this is blocked by the diode. so first the cap discharges into the coil, then the diode opens up and the battery does the rest.

1.Will this circuit keep producing the impulse without losses? If yes, will the impulse production maintain itself while steady power is being drawn from it if the coil in this circuit could be made resonant with a conventional transformer?
@MasterIvo
@MasterIvo 2 жыл бұрын
no, if loaded, the resonant energy of the coil flows into the load. That's why I use a second coil which is series resonant. this has low impedance (load) due to the series resonance. This second L2 coil then be comes the primary for the L3 secondary. And by close coupling L1 and L2, the system stays very efficient

Is the output frequency limited by the mosfets speed or the phenomena itself?
@MasterIvo
@MasterIvo 2 жыл бұрын
both. the impulse speed is depended on the resonant frequency of the coil. and that depends on the capacity and inductance of the coil. In theory I could use a straight wire. But the frequency would be so high, and the currents so high, that the mosfet would not be able to cope with it.

@@MasterIvo I've been theorizing that with a clockwise and counterclock wise wound bifilar phi abha coil I could create, once pulse correctly, a precessing magnetic moment vector. With sufficient precessional frequency and field strength it should overcome gravity. There could very well be a flaw in my theory but I believe a precessing magnetic moment is strongly connected to gravity. My idea was to use resonance to efficiently create this precession without any moving parts or permanent magnets 🤔 the precessing vector would be drawing a hyperboloid and in the center there should be very large dielectric acceleration. You probably understand aether and field theory way better.. is there an obvious flaw in my logic? 😅

This is amazing, very clearly explained for anyone to understand. Commercial equipment that produces high voltage pulses is too expensive for a hobbyist. I am looking for an amplifier that can produce high voltage pulses up to 1000V at frequencies ranging continuously from 0 - 4MHz. This is to power a Rife plasma bulb for healing. I thought of getting a retro AM tube amplifier made for this purpose similar to what R.Rife had used originally. But this method seems to be far easier if it can produce a range of frequencies and also put out about 500 W.

You can avoid the heating problem entirely by using a hairpin circuit design, if you can get the dielectric current going without involving any Magnetic losses the current won't produce any heat in the circuit, though the only way I know of at the moment to do it like that is with high voltage to induce bring the required pressure and a spark gap to trigger the capacitors to release.

Hi Robert, incidentally, I too was inclined to experiment with MWOs recently for healing purposes. At first I used a spark gap TC to charge the rings. It produced a strong output but I couldn't control the frequencies it generated. Now im using a musical tesla coil (SSTC) to power the MWO rings. This way i can control the primary frequency it outputs - i can get 4Hz - 10KHz depending on how i tune the antenna. Ofc there will be many more harmonics produced due to high voltage discharge. I have ordered a cheap spectrum analyser (tinySA) to observe these. Im looking for a better high voltage pulse amplifier with much broader range (like 0-4MHz) than the SSTC.
