I can't understand how everyone is so high on Yike. He's fine, but he feels like what Flakked was on G2 last year, a pretty good player who can also get away with more because of his team. I think Razork has been the best jungler in season finals *so far*, his champion pool seems on point as fuck and he hasn't had as many "oh wow he single handedly threw away the lead" moments as in regular. In regular season (regular splits?) Jankos got mad disrespected, what he accomplished with way less to work with than Yike is more impressive to me in terms of individual performance.

Sometimes you need to wonder if some player is really good or the competition is shit. I'm not saying he is bad, but the other junglers are....a little lacking. Worlds is close, so we will see there.

Yike has still plenty of room to grow and hes definitely in contention for the best jungler but definitely not THE best player. I wouldnt necessarily compare him to Flakked yet. Yike had a really good MSI while Flakked wasnt so hot on the international stage but we gotta see worlds first.

Jankos on this G2 team would make them far better and more stable. Jankos was the best jungler of the year. Yike has been decent overall, I don't dislike him as a player and maybe he'll keep improving but Jankos would give me so much more confidence for the team at worlds.

It’s hard to judge yike bc it’s hard to tell if his good plays and ganks are a result of him or his teammates that are literally all known to be very vocal and ask for stuff. He certainly has the best champ pool of eu jungler tho so you gotta give him that

What? Yike has clearly been one of the best performing junglers in the LEC, he has plenty of room to grow as a player and clearly has a very flexible champion pool. Flakked got way too much Flak as a player last year - He was pretty good and as he showed this year was more than capable of playing at LEC level, he just got blamed for G2's under performance at worlds and loss to rogue when ultimately he wasnt really at fault. Razork has been good in season finals but fact is for most of the year, he was trolling in half their games. His champion pool seems on point in parts but then the meta changes and he looks lost all over again... thats been his issue since Misfits. Not only that for Razork - He has played 2 series and in the XL series he had a few blunders. His issue is he will have a handful of good plays and then will decide he is diving a tower and die because he overforces, thats Razorks biggest issue as a player - even when playing things like Ivern he does that. Jankos played insanely well but that doesnt mean that Yike is somewhere worse... like Jankos was arguably the best jungler in LEC but that doesnt mean that Yike was somehow worse.

To add to what thorium was saying, the point that was talked about in that JRE clip is more about consistency and thus amount of training cus in NA the way they train is insanely high intensity but more rest days whereas the Russians have way less intense but more numerous workouts, which directly translates to more technical knowledge of the sport

Am I the only one who thought game 4 was promising too in G2 vs MAD? If there's one thing MAD has been able to do internationally it's win early games; in the main stage and knock out at least (we don't talk about play in), that G2 could still figure out how to win at some point, even if they messed up the waves for a long time, is not unlike how teams like Damwon and T1 have beaten MAD. And at least MAD could get ahead with Elyoya being clean on a J4, their macro was shit later but at least they have some part of the game to build on.

I don't fully agree with their take on the e-mail itself. It just sounds like internal information for the employees about their CEO leaving. Of course they will not say that she fucked up in many ways and obviously you can't have the CEO just leave without any notification. In my opinion this is just normal corporate talk when a high-ranking employee, that had been in the spotlight, is leaving a company.

I'm really not involved in cooperate culture especially not in american but the ridiculousness of the praise in that email made me think that it gotta be sarcastic. In Germany it's fairly common to chose euphemisms in recommendation letters not to get sued by the former employee. Managers are using "codes" so to speak to rate the employee without using negative language. Not saying that the email is meant to be sarcastic but the comparison with movie stars, athletes etc is fucking bullshit LMAO

I will forever be pissed about the Carlos situation. Issues like this only exacerbate my disbelief of the Carlos situation. Carlos did fuck all, worst thing he did was double down, but he wouldn't have felt the need to do so if people didn't blow shit way out of proportion in the first place. If you think about it, he was probably in a heightened emotional state from all the hatred that he wasn't thinking clearly when he doubled down. So when I see shit like this, some motherfucker getting a pass for being an ACTUAL piece of shit just because she's a woman in eSports, it blows my fucking mind. I would much rather work for Carlos than Nicole ANY day of the week. What did Carlos do? He was at a party that Andrew Tate was also attending. What did Nicole do? Oh, ya know, she only caused/allowed one of her players to endure physical and psychological issues, all to better the bottom line. I feel like that's not as bad as what Carlos did, right? I mean Carlos had women coming to his defence saying that he was nothing, but pleasant towards them the whole time they worked together. So being in the same room makes him a mysoginist like Tate? Makes sense. I had some delusional asshole try to tell me on Twitter that the people surrounding you are 100% indicative of the kind of person you are, which is just the most delusional and short-sighted way of thinking I've seen in a long time. He had 3 days to prepare, was playing weakside permanently, did not fall behind a lot and "carried" 2 very important teamfights. Except for brokenblade, he probably is the best toplaner in the LEC.

He was falling behind, the fact that he knew was weak side and yet got solokilled multiple times throughout the series including immediately after being given a kill by Razork - Immediately turning around and dying to Adam for literally no reason in G5 because he was being overaggressive into Ghost Olaf. Yes he played well in Teamfights but he was also massively overaggressive in teamfights - Diving the tower to flash W Crownie when he doesnt have W and dying immediately when he gets kited out. To say he is the best Toplaner in the LEC right now is laughable considering how players like Oscar, Odo, Adam played throughout summer. Wunder was good as a plug and play but people really are gushing far too hard over him right now, he played well for the short notice... but that's it. If Nuc and Crownie hadn't been throwing Game 5 then Wunders performance would not be as lauded as it is because ultimately Adam played better than him over the course of the series. The difference was Wunders team was playing better... so putting him on an island alone to get solokilled didnt matter as much because Humanoid, Razork and Noah were smurfing through the series even when counterpicking themselves.

Am I watching the same games as everyone else? Theres no western team that can compete at worlds this year. G2's ceiling is the ro8, and the reason is simple. They're going to get absolutely fucking gapped in mid lane. Caps might be the greatest western player of all time, but hes a shell of his former self. Aside from maybe T1, what eastern team is g2 going to run into where caps doesnt get fucking pounded by the opposing mid/jg?? Can you imagine him running into Knight or Yagao's Jayce? Chovy's K'sante? Showmaker's Azir? Come on, lol. Caps was relegated to Nautilus duty at MSI for good reason, and you wont compete with the asian teams doing that.

It's proven that the format doesn't make some region necessarily better. If anything lec has been looking the worst it has been for some years. Almost every series in play offs was very bad and even g2 who are by far the best don't really look that good.

I mean its not proven anything... 1 year of a format is not proof that something doesnt work. You need multiple years of a format to test its effectiveness overall. I mean there is more than just Format involved in why EU is behind, but to say that its not worked or hasnt had anything effect because of one year is kind of illogical.

That dagistan point is only kind true from what I have seen. It's the couple of guys who trained with khabibs Dad other dagistan fighters. Are useless technically good but no where near the level of athlete a college all American is. So you are kind right but they are not all killers.
