One of the most requested topics I’ve received, so it was inevitable it would be covered eventually. Despite not being a narcocorrido artist in practice, the story of Adan Chalino Sanchez has similar parallels to his father’s but remains unique in its tragedy and timing. His fame was reaching points almost unimaginable by his father’s expectations. The popularity of regional Mexican music grew to incredible heights after the passing of Chalino, but his Son had that chance before he passed.
Adan would be the first regional Mexican artist and youngest headliner of ANY genre to sell out the 3,400-capacity Kodak theater in Hollywood. His story involves many familiar faces from the narcocorrido world like Pedro Rivera and Pepe Garza, and was quite a ride to dive into. With sparse information about some parts of his life, I tried my best to do the story justice. If you enjoyed it, please be sure to subscribe and comment below with what topics you would like to see covered by the channel.
As always, thank you for watching.
All music was produced by myself, including the ending credits remix of Adan’s song “Always and Forever”.
