One of my favourite quirks of the Newton UI are the screen tap sounds varying in pitch, so there's a bit of a tune while just tapping the screen. I didn't know the screen tap sounds also play when toggling the backlight!

I was at the keynote when Steven Paul Jobs released MacOS Monterey 12.1 for the eMate, there was a bit of lag but it was manageable 0.256789 fps and I was on my way.
