i get that Graham, my grandfather was a rear gunner on Halifax bombers based at RAF Scampton Lincs. My great Aunt Gertrude’s home in Clapham was bombed during the blitz. Do NOT lecture me! Singing songs about the glory days of the RAF in a pub in London, no problem with that. Singing them to intimidate our friendly German hosts while kids are going by in pushchairs I TOTALLY condemn! We Scots as well as Irish, Welsh and other commonwealth nations fought the Nazi war machine as well but we go to Germany to play football. Not act like thugs… show kindness and respect Graham.
