The bride was splendid in her white wedding dress. There she finally was, ready to walk along the aisle, feeling like a princess, just for one day. She had been afraid she would faint from the emotion, but now she felt sure this would not happen. The guests looked at her expectantly. She took one step. Then another. Then…she passed out. When she came round, she was told she had suddenly fallen unconscious on entering the church. She was now lying in the nearby field with all the guests gathered around her. She felt so ashamed that she went red and couldn’t mutter a single word. In the end she found the courage to explain what had happened: it was not because of the emotion that she had blacked out - it was the treatment she had been on to recover from a rash she had developed following a recent sunburn that had weakened her and caused all the fuss. She had wanted to look amazing on her wedding day and for sure she managed to amaze friends and family with a peculiar, unforgettable start of the day.

After enduring the chilly winter, I couldn’t wait to head to the nearest beach for a sunbath in the middle of spring. It was a Sunday, and I had planned to spend half the day under the sun to get a tan. The sky was cloudless and the sun’s rays shone all over my body. After one hour, I suddenly felt faint and lost consciousness. When I came round, I found myself in my own bed. My friends told me that they found me passed out and sunburned, so they carried me home immediately. The next day, my skin developed rashes, but fortunately, they faded away after a week. I love sunny days, but this experience really taught me a lesson!

As I live in Spain and we already have wonderful weather, yesterday I went to the beach and laid on the sand for six hours all in a row. I was so tired that I fell asleep. When I woke up, I realised that I had a terrible sunburn, obviously. To make matters worse, when I stood up, I fainted. Fortunately, there was somebody nearby who came to help me. However, once I managed to stand up again, I passed out once more. What a nightmare!

It's a common knowledge that people living in countries where sunshine is not abundantly available understandably treasure hours of basking in the sun whenever opportune while for us who live in tropical countries, we are prone to get sunburn very often if our skin is not covered well with protective clothing. Children are quite ready to get heat rash once summer sets in. Those poor chaps who have to work outdoors, unless they don't forget to get rest in the shade as oftentimes as necessary and get well hydrated, are often heard to faint in the heat of the season. Even today on my way back from grocery shopping, I saw an ambulance fetching a street cleaner who passed out while working and lay unconscious on the sidewalk.

Another 5 a day that keeps the doctor away! So I have a friend who easily faints when she sees some blood. Once I was with her in the office and a former colleague of ours got injured with a cutter, getting a little wound on his hand. Some blood started coming out and she passed out. She became unconscious for a few minutes and then she got back to normality. I have an extremely sensitive skin. I usually put sunscreen when I know that I have to spend some time in the sun. Although living in Malta means getting in the heat frequently and even when I hang out my laundry and I stay in the sun for 15 minutes I happen to sunburn and get some rash on my skin. Thank you Anna ❤

It was one of those hot days you experience when visiting Malta in the middle of summer. I was lying on a deck chair next to the pool, trying to get as much suntan as I could. Unfortunately, I didn't realize that it was almost midday and the sun was scorching. Suddenly, I felt the urge to jump into the cool water next to me, so I stood up and then it happened. I fainted and fell to the ground. I was unconscious for a short while. When I came round, I remembered the last time I passed out was on our wedding day. But this time it was even worse. Not only did I feel dizzy for the rest of the day, but I got a really bad sunburn and a heat rash on my back. Silly me.

I can´t describe with the proper words how do I feel when mosquitoes bite me here in the caribean countryside of Costa Rica, there we have a plethora of different insects, many of them can cause a variety of illnesses such as dengue fever. In so many cases dengue fever can make a person faint due to the intensive pain. In my case, when I caught that illness, five years ago, I almost pass out as a consequence of the strong pain. Additionally, mosquito bites really can produce rash as a reaction of the body to the substances within the mosquito spit. On the other side, when you may be exposed to the strong sunlight, in addition to sunburn, your skin may experience premature aging, specially here in amid the tropical forest.

Hi Today my friend and me went to outside for inspection at our work site. It is very sunny today. During summer season the temperature is high in KSA and can be upto 48 degree Celsius. It has been for two hours we were doing our inspection and the temperature is at its peak level as we are in mid time. My friend told me that he couldn't do any more inspection as he was exhausted. He said that let's go there and sat under the tree shadow but unfortunately He couldn't reached there he fainted. While he passed out I took him onto my shoulder and hardly managed him to reach under the shadow. I sprinkled water on his face but he's still in unconsciousness. Then I called for Ambulance to get medical aid. I got sunburn due to long hours working in strong sunligh. When I reached hospital for treatment the nurse tested allergic medicine and that medicine caused rash on my body as it was allergic to me.

After eight months of hard work, I started my holidays to recharge the batteries. I was looking forward to it, so I spent all the time going to the beach. Something terrible was about to happen to me. During a suffocating heat day, I got a sunburn, and suddenly, I felt like I was fainting. And that happened! I passed out! I was unconscious for some minutes, and when I woke up, my body was full of rashes.

Last month, I pushed myself too hard, working overtime and exhausting myself. As a result, I fainted while giving a presentation during a meeting. I remained unconscious ten minutes. My doctor advised me to spend time in the sun. I like it but unfortunately, I have an allergic reaction to sunlight, getting sunburn and heat rash quite easily. Moreover, in severe cases, I may pass out. Anyway, I must prioritize taking care of myself and avoid overwork.

Doctors say that its possibility of passing out is much higher when it is hot. People can faint if they didn’t have enough air to breathe or if they had sunburn. You can also see the rash on the skin after sunburn. If I saw someone unconscious I would call an ambulance first, then I’d place them horizontally and honestly I don’t know what to do next.

Vocab story: After her fourth gill of 16-year-old Lagavulin Miss Pattison came out in a nasty rash the colour of a tropical sunburn. An unconscious remark from another avid club frequenter made her throw a high heeled shoe at him rendering him unconscous. Her Prince Charming nearly fainted when he read the full account of Vicky's adventure in Loaded magazine, especially the bit where she passed out on the floor with a faint smile.

TASK 3 I do remember the episode when Rick, my Londonize friend, visited me here in Middle East for a long weekend. It was in May and once he “escaped” from the rainy and coldly England, the first wish was to enjoy the Sun’s abundance in here. Thus, we decided to spend a lazy day at the Dead Sea shore, when the Sun was shining and the air temperature was already around 35-36°C. It’s there something else at the Dead Sea, pretty unique and extremely enjoyable - the highly salty water that keeps your body afloat without any effort. It was the first such experience for Rick and he loved it immediately. While floating effortless with half of his body above the water’ surface and truly relish the mid-day Sun, he eventually passed out and slept for more than an hour in a kind of fascinating imponderability. That was the funny part. The less funny one, was the fact that being unconscious during his generous nap, he got a serious sunburn on his face, neck and chest. When woken up and decided to return to the beach, after 2-3 steps on the shore, he suddenly fainted on the sand. My first reaction was to splash a bottle of water on his face, which proved to be an inspired solution. Luckily, his condition improved shortly and then he was able to raise and walk alone. Of course, we spent the rest of the day on shade and discussing about the Sun’s benefits for the body through a moderate exposure. Fortunately, there were no serious consequences of that episode, apart of the fact that on the way back to London, at the airport, the immigration officer could not easily identify Rick, based on passport’s photo. His still reddish face, also full of rashes, made him hardly recognizable.

I remember that day vividly mainly because it was the hottest day of the year. I was walking with an umbrella in my hand to get some relief from the scorching sun that was when I saw a little girl playing suddenly faint right in front of me. I hurriedly went to her side, poor girl had heat rash all over her hands and legs. She must have been playing outside in these baking hotness for hours with her face being so red and hot with sun burnt. I tried to wake the unconscious girl by sprinkling little water in her face. Thank god for the water bottle I bought at last minute just in case I got thirsty on the way. The girl started regaining her consciousness, when from the far side a women started running towards us. She was the mother of the child. I told that her girl had passed out due to heat and I gave her some water to drink. The mother said that she was very busy with her work so she did not realise that her child was outside playing for hours. She was very grateful for my kind act and took her child in her arms and before going she again thanked me. I felt really good and happy for what I did and resumed my way to the shop happily.

It’s funny how with every set of words I have a story to tell hehe, here I go. When I got the second dosis of the COVID vaccine there was a lot of heat in the place where I got it, I ended up with a lot of rashes and sunburn by how strong the sun was that day. Then when I got home I started to feel dizzy like I was going to faint. A couple hours later I passed out and woke up in my bathroom floor, I was unconscious for a couple of minutes, it was a scary moment but everything was fine after that.

For people who were born and grew up in a cold country, it's not always easy to enjoy the sun and warm weather. Every time I go to the sea in summer, I get a sunburn on day one. I get a rash on my shoulders immediately even provided that I put a lot of sunscreen on. If I stay outside for too long, I might even faint because of the heat and a lack of water. I've always been wondering what to do if I see an uncounscious person who has passed out on a beach? Thank God, I've never faced that.

It happened yesterday night. I was wandering along the beach and thinking of the way I could shake off the sunburn Ihad got. I was painting my old boat all the day, almost naked. Suddenly I raised my eyes saw someone lying on the sand not far off. Having approached to the person I realised it was Sally - I hardly fainted. She was my ex deskmate and I fell for her in High School. Sally was unconscious but alive, thanks God! I forgot about my rash on the spot. I dialled the ambulance and cried out: ' Please, do help! The girl has passed out!'

We were all too excited. It was the first day of our trip. We took the plane, everything seemed to be alright. But suddenly some of the passengers began to scracht, they couldn't stop. And a rash appeared all over their body, some of them were afraid and they faint. Luckily there was a doctor on the plane and she said that although some people pass out it was only food allergy and everybody will be ok after a shot. I looked to my friend and she was unconscious, but after I slaped she wake up, she was sleeping hahahaaha. She was dreaming of this beautiful beach, where she fall asleep and wake up when the sun gone with a terrible sunburn hahahahha. Everything get back to calm and our trip continues.

Over the years I have seen some of my students fainting because several reasons, some of them because they were sick or because they didn't have enough glucose and they passed out. I almost get unsconscious in a trip to Turkey. I got sleep in the coach for many hours face to the sun. Besides, I had a sunburn becuase I spend some hours in the pool. When I was young I used to have rashes because I sunbathed without control.

~~~~~~ A Sunburn ~~~~~~ It was the month of June. All seemed in a party The crowd was moving noisily and carefree. I do not really know why I too was happy; This effervescence had made me head cloudy. The sun excited the powers of bodies, It entered all the way to the bottom of me, And I felt in me bubble up these transports That the erstwhile sun in Adam's heart brought forth. A woman went by and she stared at me. I don't know what fire her eyes shone on me, And with what passion my soul whole was seized, But there came to me like a sudden craze To throw myself on her, a furious desire To hug her in my arms and to embrace her lips! A cloud of crimson blood covering my eyes, And I thought I'd press her in a savage kiss. I squeezed her, I flexed her, overturning her. Then, taking her suddenly by a mighty strength, I rejected the earth with my foot, and in space Trickling with sunlight, in one leap, I brought her We went through the sky, bodily, face to face. And I, always, to the blazed star I went up, Pressing her on my breast with an embrace so firm That in my clenched arms I saw that she was faint I awoke; on my cheek, my dog's tongue lapped, luscious! I pondered how long had I been unconscious? The sun was scorching, I stood up and rushed in In the mirror, horror! Rash bubbled on my skin! F. 05 17 23 🌹❤
