The love and attention from all over the world right now especially unknowing arcane fans has really fired this up. In a way it’s really good fuel for the developers especially because Riot has VERY talented people under their name. I don’t really have the WoW dev in high regard because I simply don’t know him but I mean he’s a veteran in MMO development furthermore he said that their main team is already done. Regarding this information they haven’t even really started developing the mmo just yet. Means basically 2024-2025 is big copium especially because Riot games isn’t really in a hurry to rush these people to finish it. All they have to do is slowly and slowly push some content to the people and they’re set.

The plan is for a late 2024 release, matching WoWs November release exactly 20 years prior. (source: i work in the industry)
