Had a chance to try the ERT PARE with VPD. I liked it. Pacing is certainly key with the length of this test. To pass, you need to beat 11 minutes.

Great run! I was wondering if you made the ert and how many years in the rcmp would make you qualify for ert thanks I know it’s minimum for 2 years but obviously minimum is never good

The ERT PARE wasn't made by me. RCMP created it, but honestly I don't know how long ago it was made. I also don't know what the minimum qualifications are to apply to ERT since we don't do specific training for it. We mainly focus on the tests to get into policing, like PARE, POPAT, etc.

Theres a few thibgs he does you cant do on the actual one like running start for the 6 ft wall and the vest is more complicated. Otherwise great video

Good to know! This was done at VPD, and there’s some leniency.
