Il sentiero parte dalla sponda sinistra orografica del lago artificiale di Carona. Si sale da quota 1105 m a zigzag lungo il bellissimo bosco di abeti per un lungo tratto fino a incontrare il sentiero 213 (1779 m) che arriva dal rifugio Fratelli Calvi (sentiero delle Orobie Centro-Orientali). Poco oltre si arriva alla diga del lago Marcio (1840 m), uscendo definitivamente dal bosco. Si costeggia tutta la sponda del lago, fino a incrociare il sentiero 212 che sale da Branzi e il sentiero 250 che porta al lago del Becco, poi si scende leggermente verso sinistra, alti sul lago delle Casere, fino al ponticello che attraversa la val di Gorno e da qui, passando accanto a una lunga casera, si sale fino al rifugio Laghi Gemelli (1961 m).
The path starts from the left bank of the artificial lake of Carona. Go up from an altitude of 1105 m in zigzag along the beautiful fir forest for a long stretch until you reach path 213 (1779 m) which arrives from the Fratelli Calvi refuge (path of the Central-Eastern Orobie). A little further on you arrive at the dam of Lake Marcio (1840 m), definitively leaving the wood. It runs along the entire shore of the lake, until you cross the path 212 that goes up from Branzi and the path 250 that leads to the Becco lake, then you go down slightly to the left, high on the Casere lake, up to the bridge that crosses the val di Gorno and from here, passing by a long mountain house, you go up to the Laghi Gemelli refuge (1961 m).
