I do a lot of flying and that seat is very close to the rest room. It's probably not a huge issue for a short flight, but on long haul, the constant noise and smell will definitely get to you.

My favourite seat too! I know Etihad has huge competition but it does frustrate me that when flying economy they behave like EasyJet , then you look at the other carriers and so much more is included, but despite this I’ve always had five star service.... 👍

Avoid this secret premium economy seat - Especially on long haul flights and if you are 5ft 10” and above it’s simply a punishment as it has restricted recline and limited seat pitch - And don’t forget if flight is busy, heavy traffic around lavatory thus no peace!!

That’s weird Etihad doesn’t offer a real Premium Economy. Usually airlines want to squeeze as much as they can with different options. As usual, great job on the video Josh!❤️👍✈️

He is right. Booking and checkin process at the Etihad counter is painful. They are unreal.

The two seats at the back are common on Emerites 777 planes also. I don't think they're on the 350 planes.

They have this on a 777 as well. The awesome flight attendant told me to swap seats to there because I am 6”5.

Anyone noticed the passenger sleeping at 7:50 ? poor guy want to sleep and josh is screaming right next to him lol 😂

LOL - I hate sitting way in the back right next to the washrooms .. usually with a smell .. and always people lining up to use them and standing right next to you. However the plane section where you are looks very empty .. and the rest of the plane also from what I see looks very empty. Only @ 50 people .. so you weren't bothered with people lining up for the WC .. haha. Indeed awkward headrests only on one side of the seat. Great leg room though where you were sitting and the extra space on the side. You have more legroom than the row in front of you. Funny to see the crew in full PPE. As a frequent traveler .. though not as frequent at you LOL .. I've seen quite a few of your vids so far and really enjoying them. Your reporting style is great in a style how I would report. Great video as always! To be fair you get that what you pay for. The seat is an economy class seat. So it can not be expected that the seat features a premium head rest in the economy class

Korean Air 747-400 had the same thing. It was the last four rows in economy. We sat in the two seat side from Los Angeles to Seoul and had all kinds of room!

Sorry, newb question. Etihad's Economy Space. What happens to unsold seats? What happens if they sell out the entire plane, but not enough people are willing to buy the Economy Space seats? Can it happen that some folks get those "expensive" seats for free? Or do the last people to book have to pay a higher fare and they get the Economy Space seats included with their higher fare? That seems like the fair way to go.

I have a very important question about Etihad, and I hope someone can answer. Did Etihad change the boarding music?! They used to have the iconic “Aladdin meets Harry Potter” music, and I couldn’t hear it in this video. A bummer if they did, because the music was one of my favorite things about flying with them.
