I forgot the powerful message - and yes the music, the videos. Truly powerful. Now that I reflect on all of Eurythmics, most songs have such strong message. Granted, I was a little boy when these came out but I can't forgive myself on not understanding the power of Eurythmics till later on in my life.

STILL - in 2023 - I LOVE THIS COMPOSITION - my all time favorite Eurythmics cuts. It stands the test of time. Vocal arrangement is sublime (Lead and Background). Lyrics are fantastic. Music is fresh and enjoyable. Just a stellar nugget for the ears to dine on.

Those frame-skipping sequences, (for lack of a more technical name), have got to be tricky to do! All the while that her head is jumping from one position to another, her lips are still in sync with the song's lyrics... I don't know, maybe it's not as tricky as it seems but it sure looks like it took talent to create. I loved this song from day one and I usually never pay much tribute to music videos because I'm of the opinion that if the song can't stand w/o a video, then it wasn't a song worth listening to. Of course, this song can stand alone with no problem and the video they created for it is icing on the cake, excellent! FWIW

0:38 it took me from the first time I ever saw this, when it was new in the 1980s, to now... to realize that this segment was achieved with reversing melting ice. *facepalm* My brother used to absolutely love this song (I mean, not that I didn't-of course I did; I'm not a fool). A long time ago I was about to turn 18 and had little interest in synth-pop. One day while walking around a mall I noticed this was playing on a television screen and the sheer energy of the song immediately caught my attention. A few weeks later - 21 June, on Music Day I can remember well - I found a compilation of Eurythmics hits, which I bought. These days I mostly listen to Kim Wilde, Tears for Fears or Depeche but Eurythmics was really the first synth-pop act that had me thrilled.

I don't get why they didn't play this more on the radio back when it came out. Everytime I heard a song from Eurythmics, it was always "Here Comes The Rain Again", nothing else. This song didn't get the respect it deserves. Thankfully I can here it all I want to now. 😍🤩🎶🎶🎶📻🎶📱🎶🎶 🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶

If Ghost brought you here, that's fine, at least you got here. "Sweet Dreams" got all the attention and rightfully so, it was a great song. If not for this fine video, "Missionary Man" might have gone unnoticed, and that would have been a shame. With a hard driving beat, great backup vocals, killer harmonica that steps right up to the front, and Annie looking as hot as ever. This song shows the Eurythmics at their rocking best.

Damn straight. SO hard like my ef-GF said repeatedly as we tripped on LSD during an in-theater screening of Who Framed Roger Rabbit, a film I was completely into while the only thing she was into was my lap. I'm like, "You're missing an amazing movie, Jenny" and her only response was "It's so hard" (sigh). But yeah, what you said: This goes so hard! If you're reading this, Jen, you know it's true so bwah ha ha ha ha haaa! Also, sorry 'bout my inattention that afternoon but like I said, the movie grabbed my attention fully and plus during the few times I tried LSD my libido was at, like, zero. But I digress. So hard. Just reading Dave Stewart's autobiography; a really good read. I often have the Eurythmics on playlists, but the book has brought me here to relive some of the videos. I'm a gay man, but my God, Lennox was a stunning looking woman!
