You can just go and book your stay. Even if the rooms will be over. They will set up your stay in restaurant area or some common room. Don't worry about stay or food. There are ample options.

It is approx 40 km so would take two days. But it is the traditional old route and will take atleast 2 days. To travel to kharikhola from Salleri..

Hi Manoj. Rather than joining any group of Indians from Delhi. I would suggest to rather travel kathmandu..as there you will find many people going to ebc. There is a direct bus run by Delhi govt. From Delhi to kathmandu.... You can do this trek solo also if you want. Ebc trek is full of people. So you will always find help.

Hello bhaiya, First of all, I would like to thanks you for such a detailed video!! We are a group of 6 and planning to go for this trek in the 1st week of December. I have a couple of questions for you. Is guide mandatory in this trek? If so, will we be able to get in touch with someone local in Katmandu? The trekking companies are charging above INR 60K minimum per person. So, we are planning to take someone local in Kathmandu after reaching there. Is that possible?

Don't take anyone from kathmandu if you are in need of a guide. Fly to lukla and there you will find unlimited supply of local guides..

Well, I've seen people struggling to go from phakding to namche which is a really steep incline. My conclusion is if you want to do EBC start you prep two months before it. Run for atleast 5-10 km on daily basis and follow some simple workout routine on daily basis. During the trek take ample time to acclammatize and you are good to go.

There are some lodges in namche..if you stay in them. Then they won't charge you for charging. Rest if you eat properly at a restaurant, you can charge your mobile for free with some request

Hi dileep. You can contact any agent in kathmandu to book your flight ticket. As it is sometimes difficult to book via online medium. It is very easy..if you have someone known in Nepal....you will get genuine rates as sometimes local agents try to present hyper inflated rates giving false reasons..

If you are everest region ..then there is absolutely no problem...you can go to namche..and immediately book it.. 😄

You can very easily book them in lukla itself.. but I will suggest it to book atleast 10 days before .

If you want , there are porters available throughout the journey. Just ask any restaurant owner. He will connect you with one. I carried my own luggage. It was around 15-16kgs. The porters are generally costly and ask for nearly 1500-2000 bucks.

Thanks bhai, for useful video. First day apne kathamndu se salleri ki jeep li and salleri mai stay kiya and second day salleri se thamdada/ kharikhola (near phakdinh) ki jeep li and vaha stay kiya. Right? Uske baad fir treck kiya via phakding etc to EBC?? Pls guide

Maine cab Li thi from Kathmandu(4 A.M.) to Salleri(2 P.M). Uske baad 3 P.M par age ke liye cab mil gayi thi. 9:30 -10:00 P.M ke bich kharikhola pahunch gaye the..

Actually mai april 2024 mai plan kar rha hu. Apki videos and online pta chala ki april mai KTM to lukla direct flights band hoti hai and via ramechhap jana padta hai. But abhi online jo flight dikha rha hai (ramechhap to lukla) kafi mehengi hai around 29000 INR for return and 16000 INR for one way. mera treck EBC ke bad (vapsi mai) chola pass and gokyo ri b planned hai Abhi. so flight ka sure nhi hu abhi. agar 7-8k ka milta hai to kara leta hu verna to mehenga hi lag rha hai. aap pls suggest kare

@@shivamtyagi01 Aap apne kisi friend ko..ya friend ke friend ko nepal me contact karein. Trust me the flight prices are not high..7-8 k me one way easily mil jayegi... Bus kisi ko pakadna padega known me Jo nepal me rehta ho. Booking flight is really easy if you are a nepali..

Lukla se apko flight pakadna padega for ramechhap.. wahan aapke paas do options hain...ya to aap ramechhap bus stand se bus pakad lein..bus stand is very near to airport. (2Km approx..)..ya fir aap cab bhi book kar sakte hain..shared as well as personal...ramechhap airport ke baher poora taxi stand haii...🤞🤞

No one's uses Indian currency in ebc region. Better to exchange cash in kathmandu at petrol pumps..or at border..

For gokyo lake, you need to detour from lobuche. Due to time constraints I was not able to complete it. It will add 3-4 extra days to itinerary.

We didn't get anything from kathmandu. Sab monjo me mil jayega apko...Trek card rehta hai ek. To apko koi extra card kahin se arrange karne ki zaroorat nai hai..So aap worry na karein .

@@meetramani8611 Well trekking companies kaat to Rahi hi Hain deshwasiyo kaa..☺️..I have done it brother...2000 in tok-tok and 1500 in monjo. Both in NPR... I understand as we are going solo we have to plan a lot of things. But relax and don't worry. 9000 INR matlab 14500 NPR. Kuch zyada hi ho gaya. 😀😀

Ji nai sir, Indian currency wahan chalti nai hai..aapko sirf Nepali currency hi use karni padegi....Indian currency exchange is very difficult during ebc route. Please aap border yaa kathmandu me hi currency exchange karwa ke chale..

Hi bhai, I have planned ebc from 16th-3rd oct. I will land kathmandu on16th. From 17th i will take by road by to reach thamdanda and also thinking same route to reach kathmandu. Is it possible to cover both ebc and gokyo in this time duration?

Absolutely. The time is more than enough to acclimatise. I would suggest going to Gokyo lakes while coming back from ebc and relax their for atleast 2-3 days..

Thankyou Bhai for your reply. Which route should I prefer cho la pass or from namche bazar ? I am doing solo trekk. Is it safe to do cho la pass alone ? Is there enough trekking trail on the way or is there any chances to get lost? And How many days buffer should I keep to take the lukla flight to return to Kathmandu? I have read lukla flights get cancelled due to bad weather.

Mam fitness level par depend karta hai..sath hi sath ..10+ is a good age...if 10 years age hai then make sure ki you have enough days as AMS is a serious issue ...it specially is very tough after lobuche..

It is an absolute honour sir. The best time would be October, November. I am not sure of any fitness certificate, but I have seen many people on news doing ebc with prosthetics. Many people with physical challenges too have completed the trek. So I wish you all the best. I would suggest doing ebc trek with a guide, rest you are good to go ..

Sir you don't have to worry about guide. Just book your ticket to lukla and there you can enquire about local guides. The charge for any guide may be between..1500-2000 per day. He can also serve as porter and you can complete your trek with ease.

Yes, For Gokyo Lakes different route is required. If you want to cover Gokyo lakes then while returning from ebc you have to take detour near lobuche...There you will cross chola pass to reach..Gokyo..add just 2 extra days in itinerary for Gokyo if you are a fit person.

In December, The night temperatures might go way below zero. So would suggest to buy some really good jackets and gloves... The problem is not during the day but in night. ..As well as add extra 2 days as buffer as there may be snowstorms during that time..

Kathmandu se lukla sirf kuch samay ke liye flight chalti hai...apko ramechap se lukla ki flight pakadni padegi. Ramechap Kathmandu se 4 ghante dur hai.. Local tour guide ka contact bhi hai. But wo apko call par 2500 INR batayega ek din ka. Better hai aap lukla pahunch kar local kisi admi se baat karein. Vaise bhi guide compulsory nai haii.

Well you have helicopter support till end of the base camp. The more up you go the more costlier it gets. Gorakshep to kathmandu ride is approx 80k. If you want to get travel insurance, make sure it covers your emergency helicopter exit. Rest proper hospitals are only in kathmandu....You need to have an extensive research for a good travel insurance. I didn't took any insurance.

@@AnkitaSharma88 Actually all the hotel owners in Namche have contact with helicopter service providers. I stayed in khumbhu lodge and they only helped my friend secure a seat in helicopter. Rest i have seen summit air helicopters taking many people from lukla to ebc and back. I'll try to gather info. , but it will take time . You can research as well. I'll comment after completing my research..

Absolutely. But you may need a lot of days to acclammatize.. Better to do brisk walking for atleast 10 kms on daily basis. Two months before starting the trek.

ओके ब्रदर हम दो लोग ebc के लिए पूना से काठमांडू इसी महिने 10 तारीख से फ्लाईट से जाणे वाले हे और वाहसे बाय रोड सल्लेरी ओके तो हमे भारत से काठमांडू मे उतरणे के बाद टुरिस्ट पास रहता हे क्या??? सल्लेरी के बाद का दो पास निकालाने पडेंगे ओ जाणकारी अपने व्हिडीओ दी हे लेकिन काठमांडू उतरणे के बाद पुरे दिन का कोई पास रह्यता हे क्या 🙏🙏 प्लिज रिप्लाय

@@prashantshinde1054 Dekhiye apko kathmandu me airport par utarne par voter I'd card ya passport ..in dono me se ek document dikhana rahega...fir apko aur kisi pass ki zarurat nai hai..aap airport se Thamel jakar us din araam karein..aur wahi bazaar se Salleri ke liye gaadi me apni seat book kar lein...gaadi subah 4 baje ke as pas chalegi..aur Salleri apko ..dopahar ke 2 baje tak pahuncha degi...aage aap chahe to usi din jeep bhi kar sakte hain. Ye apki ichha par nirbhar karta hai..apko kisi bhi prakar ke pass ki avashyakata nai hai. Kharikhola se fir age apne agle din ka Safar shuru kar sakte hain ..

Itna emotional nai hote bhai. There is difference between a drug..and a generic drug. Drug 500 ka padega..To generic drug 100 ka . Ab gareeb to bechara mehengi dawai khane se ghabrayega. Agar wo reasonable rate par dawai dekhega.. to medicine le lega. As simple as that. Main bhi Ameer nai hun. My heart goes to every trekker jiska budget kum hota hai..aur duniya ghumna chahta haii..hope you understand..
