here are some of the worst story lines of glee: when ryder told the glee club about when his female babysitter molested him and the guys all were denying how that could be traumatic and it was never talked about again. when kitty made marley get an ed and they became friends after ? finn’s homophobia & anger management problems (outing santana & constantly ridiculing kurt for being “too gay”) ryder’s transphobia towards unique when everyone got mad at kurt for being an atheist (yes he was a bit snobbish at times but that doesn’t mean you can belittle a person’s beliefs) mr schue singing blurred lines & making his students twerk how nobody (except santana) realized that mr schue was doing cultural appropriation and everyone got mad at her for it mr schue planting drugs in finn’s locker the toxic performance (mr schue doing the performance w/ them) anything else mr schuester did

The show treated the LGBTQ+ characters terrible. Unique: making fun of her, the whole bathroom thing, her cat fishing Ryder, and literally that one time where Mr. Shue “had it” with the glee club because they wanted to do different songs and him yelling at Unique for talking about wanting to transition. And that’s not even all. Brittany: the ONLY bisexual character on the show. She is constantly hyper-sexualized. Coach Beiste: first made fun of for being too manly and then they forced the character to suddenly become trans FOR NO REASON! All of the plot lines in previous seasons were about how womanly she can and does feel despite being not conventionally attractive. (I hated this so much. There are actual trans men out there and the show botched any trans storyline) Kurt: constantly made fun of for his voice. STEREOTYPE gay. Blaine: not that much of a stereotype but do you guys remember how he thought that he might be bi because he kissed Rachel and Kurt basically invalidated that by saying that “bi is just a station to gaytown” or something like that. And then they just basically showed that Kurt was right and that bi is just a transition phase to gay for men. Idk... Sorry about the essay but I feel very strongly about this.

The Glee Clubs were losers for all of the first episode. Then they had the top cheerleaders, and 3 football players join the team (one of whom slept with most of the female students) so it lost its "ragtag group of misifts band together" after episode 1. Rachel was believable as a loser because she was annoying. Kurt was believable as a loser because he was a flamboyant gay boy in a rural midwest town, Artie was believable as a loser because he was nerdy and not fit, Mercedes was believable as a loser because the town was so white and kind of racist, and Tina had a stutter and apparently one of the only goth students. And then the majority of the Glee Club became football players and cheerleaders and we're suppose to believe they were losers.

Best male singer on the show as a whole was Jesse St James.

yall still are sleeping on mr peace maker, iconic gay, KURT HUMMEL. his character wasn’t even going to exist, but chris colfer was so TALENTED they created a new character just for him. and kurt’s character developed other characters. he was one of the only reasons rachel stayed tolerable (some of the times, she’s still a grade A brat). he had the humor, the sass, the way he conveyed his lines, and everything else made him one of the best characters on that show.

Rachel was treated bad because of her horrible behaviour... and it was fine when she treat people bad but when someone did it to her everyone are like " ohhh poor Rachel..." With Finn he was such a hypocrite... he treat Kurt bad, he was also selfish and no one said anything bad about him" - when he treat bad Blayne because he was jealous of him - when he didn't help Kurt( when Dave abused him) because he was scared of his reputation.. but all Glee guys helped Kurt and even Sam fot black eye because if it - when in season 1 he choose Football team - when he shout at Quinn because her Santana and Brittany choose cheerios .. but he did the same 2 times... - when he outed Santana..etc This 2 were really bad characters but will lick their asses... and treat other people bad.. but people still act like " poor Rachel and poor Finn"

Quinn was severely unappreciated, she has a beautiful voice but never got solos. She went through so much trauma and crappy storylines then got forgotten about. The writers did her dirty. She had so much potential to portray a post partum Depression storyline, talk about her awful father and trauma. could’ve been a great mental health storyline. Also Quinn was definitely Bi or lesbian and they should’ve explored that. Quinn and Santana should’ve dated S4-5. They were so more than friends, the chemistry, tension, the smiles, the glances.. and She should’ve been one of the main people in the quarterback episode and the maid of honour in brittana’s wedding. the unholy trinity deserved more scenes together and performances.

I know he was only a guest star but Jesse St. James was on a whole other level of talent and by far the best male voice on the show
