Glenfeshie Estate is in the Cairngorms National Park in the heart of the Scottish Highlands. This is one of our favourite glens in Scotland without a doubt.
Glen Feshie is the jewel in the crown of Wildland, the private property empire of Danish businessman Anders Povlsen, which is dedicated to rewilding. Wildland was a pioneer in a movement that is now gaining ground. It’s a fact that industrial agriculture and urbanisation have helped annihilate more than 40% of British wildlife during my lifetime (I was born in 1974), depleting the soil to dangerous levels. “Nature recovery” has become a mantra, if not a government priority, across Europe, and political parties now bid to plant more trees than their rivals. Rewilding is both trendy and emotive. Some in the countryside advocate it passionately, others see it as a mortal threat to their culture and history, to an entire way of life. [The Guardian]

A fantastic Glen which you’ve captured beautifully in this video. A bike is a great way to explore it and others. Top food as well - beats those rehydrate bags.

Thanks for excellent video. Planning to visit soon, been there plenty in the past, but looks even better now. That was a large Adder, only seen them that size on Jura. This shows what a good landowner can do, the rewilding program is superb and it's a great place to visit. Very well done to the Estate owners.

It looks like the old flood damage & erosion in places hasn't changed since my last visit there in 2014 when I walked through from Glen Tilt & Geldie. Lisa would've disappeared faster than that adder in her snazzy PJ's given the chance.😆Beautiful nostalgic video for me, thanks guys.🙏

Hi Lisa, Hi Dave, wonderful video, what a stunningly beautiful area. Loved every minute of that, especially the food at the end, it looked delicious. Most disappointed you didn't attempt the ride over the log bridge. That would be a 20 second time penalty at least in Kick Start. Haha Thank you for sharing your adventure as always, all the best Dave.

That looked an idyllic day finished off with a delicious meal. You're obviously a talented cook Dave 😋I love upper Glen Feshie and will be up there again soon. Mr Polvsen is doing a grand job as evidenced by the speed of the forest regeneration. Wouldn't it be great if BrewDog and the shooting estates adopted the same policy rather than taking millions in public subsidies to plant new trees?..RANT ENDS

Thank you for this mesmerizing video!! I have a question, me and my partner want to go there by the end of March and we want to rent a motorhome BUT we don't want to stay in the busy campsites, we just want to pick a spot we like and then stay overnight, is this possible/legal?

Thank you for watching. 😁🙏 Yeah, a certain degree of common sense is required obviously.
