Endermen spawn proofing a house will change the ascetic. Half slab floors on the bottom half, carpet, etc or make the ceilings only 2 high. The things hurting you near yhe village were sweet berry bushes. They have throrns. You're going to want to explore your world more. When exploring use enderchests, they take obsidian and an enderpearl to make, silk touch pickaxe to pick up. The contents are on a per player basis, if you die not going to loose the contents. Use bonemeal on moss blocks and it will convert nearby natural blocks into more moss. Definitely make a bamboo farm, its useful as furnace fuel, for Scaffolding (use when building things), and now for bamboo wood as well.

There are a few ways of preventing endermen from teleporting. They can teleport to on top of almost any block, with a few excpetions: 1. Two layers of carpet is not a valid teleportation target. If you cover _all_ horizontal surfaces with two layers of carpet endermen cannot teleport to that area. 2. Endermen cannot teleport to on top of waterlogged blocks. 3. Endermen are 3 blocks high. 2 and 2.5 blocks high spaces will not fit an enderman 4. No endermen, no problem; prevent enderman spawning within the despawn sphere, i.e. any space within 128 blocks. Usually this is done by lighting up everything, including all caves which prevent all mob spawning. This requires a large amount of work, but can be done. For a sky base it is a lot easier as most underneath you is air. 5. Endermen are limited to 32 block teleportation distance. If you spawn proof your house and make sure there are no teleportation targets within 32 blocks in each direction and also prevent endermen from simply walking too close then they will not be able to get in. 6. No endermen, no problem; build a mob switch. I think at the moment the "standard" is to put 70 wardens somewhere as they count towards the mob cap but can be kept loaded.

If you can build a safe road in the Nether and travel on that it's a lot faster. Walk one block in the nether and you have gone 8 blocks in the overworld

The house is cute! I just want to say that your struggles with social anxiety are highly relatable. I'm glad that society has come to a point where we can at least talk more openly about it and not have to feel so much like we are particularily flawed people. Still long ways to go, especially in education. I had a teacher even worse than the one you describe and the only real way to control my dread of public embarassment was to overprepare and work twice as hard on the subject. Always good to see another vid. It's probably been mentioned by others, but scaffolding is extremely useful when building, much better than stacking dirt blocks. Definitely worth the effort to make a few. Another wee tip if you're up high is to drop some water buckets on the ground below while you're building, so that you avoid fall damage. Also learning to place stairs from a 6-year old 😂

Hey Bree, whenever you sleep in a bed you reset your respawn point where the bed is placed. This whole time you could have died and spawned in your world spawn (the first area you appeared when starting the game if there was no bed on the ground)

The location of the cherry grove or any other minecraft biome depends upon the seed of the worlds which are generated. Unless you manually specify a seed when creating a world to play in, that seed will be somewhat random. Additionally ... if you are playing 1.20 in a world you have already been playing in then the landscape you have already visited will have been set. You are going to have to visit locations that are new to you in that case. To do an upside down stair you need to click on the top of the side of the block you are placing the stair on.

I’m not sure if you follow hermitcraft but docm77 and mumbo jumbo are both excellent for seeing mind blowing redstone contraptions. Grian, geminitay, pearlescent moon, goodtimewithscar and quite a few others are excellent for stunning builds. Your house here looks great. With every build you’ll learn from your mistakes. I lost my first ever world because of corrupted data but I still remember every build in it. I’ve made better builds since, but no other world has felt like I wanted to stay in it and keep playing after I beat the end game. P.S. I felt your rage with those creepers. 🤬 🤣

Hey Bree, a little bit of advice, it's best to craft a compass to find where your house is so that you can't get lost. The compass will point where you last slept (your respawn point)

Protip: whenever you enter a scary area/pillager outpost or whatever, and decide to actually explore it. Put down a bed and set spawnpoint by just rightclicking it, some place close. so that IF you die you spawn right at the bed instead of Home. This is suuuuper helpful especially when you Are exploring far away from Home. Just learned it a few weeks ago and found it very helpful! PS: do NOT do this in the nether 💀

The endermen are probably spawning in your house because the roof is over 3 blocks high. I don't think there is anything you can put in there to scare them away like creepers with cats.
