Also, I may have an explanation why the Warden didn't spawn as you were stick in blocks and keep setting off the shrieker. At 23:51 you can hear the Warden making a sound, although it's not physically here and didn't emerge. I went back to Minecraft wiki, and this is actually because the game attempted to spawn the Warden (it makes 20 attempts when a shrieker is set off on warning 4) and failed on every of these 20 attempts. This probably means there was no valid location around the shrieker where it could have spawned, ie the zone is too bright or covered in blocks that prevent mob spawning. And everytime the Warden fails to spawn, it plays the "Warden takes notice angrily" sound that you heard at the specific timestamp. You probably weren't aware then, but you had some next level luck right there, as the game did in fact attempt to throw a Warden at you 😅

You can dig up items with the brush in the suspicios looking sand and gravel of the following structures: Desert temples, desert wells, under water ruins and trail ruins (which are completely buried except for the tip made of gravel and terracota)

You went from noob to better than me in less than a year. My top 3 suggestions: . To keep creepers off your property, build fences at least. Light up the area. A 2 high wall blocks skels. I make mine 3 high with overhang to stop spiders. Glass windows at the gate shows potential ambush. . The enchant I always get first is fortune on diamond pickaxe. The most useful is infinity on bow. After that is feather fall on boots. . Golden apples are life savers in battle. Especially for you since you keep forgetting to eat.

I just sneak around, use night vision potions to see and surround chests in wool before opening them. I really enjoy exploring ancient cities.

if you think the loot is bad just know it's the best loot in the overworld and end and has the highest chance of enchanted apples and it is the biggest structers in the game

Ancient cities are the only place to get the Swift Sneak enchantment to walk faster when crouching

The first part where u placed carpet everywhere! xD just sneak when near sensors in range of shriekers, on carpet/wool you can run. incapsulate things like chest's or shriekers(or break) so thy cant spawn a warden, then it doesnt matter if you trigger sensors. if you do spawn a warden(you wil know), he can kill you trough walls so distract him with arrows/snowballs and sneak away or run and hope for the best. PS: you left a great enchant in that chest(16:40) 'Swift Sneak III' makes you sneak faster, enderchest & shulker boxes could fix your inventory problems. Night Vision Potion helps alot but takes the 'fun' out of wondering in the dark.. -take a stack and right click empty slot to place 1 of it, double click an item to group em up, shift click item 3 times(i think) to swap from inventory/chest visa versa(might need to hold an item with mouse)

Sheep eat grass from the ground to grow on their wool

You can step on everything that made up of sculk as long as you're sneaking, and even while you're not sneaking as long as there's no sculk sensor with sculk shrieker close nearby you can walk normally

Your reaction to the naked sheeps was so funny, they get back their wool by eating grass

place a carpet on top of a fencepost and you can walk over the fence. Mobs can't use this feature, keeping them in the fenced enclosure. also, you can create the carpets from wool in the 4 block crafting grid with no need for the crafting table

When searching ancient cities I will mark the chests I have already looted by leaving a block of cobblestone on top of it.

Glad to see you back! As some sort of tip, which I'm not really sure is reliable as it depends on how high your game volume is, you can actually keep track of how many chances you have before the Warden spaws everytime you set off a shrieker (your "warning" increases by one upon activation, and decreases per 1 every 10 minutes of not setting off any) The game registers three sounds that play as you get darkness effect indicating the warning increase. First is called "Warden approaches" and means you can set off two more without spawning the Warden. It sounds like one light heartbeat, and you generally won't really hear it. You more recognize this one played if you hear little to nothing. The second one is called "Warden advances" (warning 2) and means you can set off one more without summoning. As it activates, you first hear the same heartbeat as in the first sound, then some sort of ominous wind sound, and a low pitched sculk sensor (lower pitched than usual anyways), although no sensor actually set off. Third one is called "Warden draws close" and means you have no more room for mistakes unless you wait the full 10 minutes (warning 3). It sounds pretty much like the second sound, except the sculk sensor sound is higher pitched and now just sounds like a regular sculk sensor. Sometimes, it can even play some sort of melody note, but that won't always happen). In Java Edition you could just turn on subtitles and see the names of the sound written as it plays, unfortunately I found out the hard way subtitles aren't a thing in Bedrock 😖

Making potions of night vision can help you explore the ancient city easier. Just make sure to add Redstone to make them last 8 mins to maximize your search time.

Night vision potions are SUPER useful for exploring ancient cities since you don't need to place torches. The primary ingredient is a golden carrot. You can also add Redstone dust to increase the duration. Hoes are the preferred tool for mining skulk stuff, which drops lots of xp. As long as you are sneaking, sensors can't hear your movement even when you aren't in wool. If you are on wool though, they can't hear you even when you are running. You can also use wool to block off shriekers in order to destroy them without setting off other ones. Vanishing means it disappears if you die with it in your inventory. Binding means you can't take it off.

Every 10 minutes the count of the warning is down by one

I you should find an ancient city that you did not find before the update to get the new item (find a newly generated one in the new update) rarest new item---> _silence armor trim one of the best looking trims found in ancient cities in 1.20.1

After playing this game since OG pocket edition to ps3 and ps4, these videos bring me so much joy, glad to see your back Bree 🥰❤️, typically the best way to run an ancient city is with a very specific potion

I use weird color wool in a specific order to lead myself back, while using night vision potions - do not drink around shriekers. The shriekers reset every ten minutes, and the summoned warden will dig back down after a minute or two after it no longer senses motion. The ten minutes per shriek count throughout the world per player, if on a server. You were both lucky and unlucky. Lucky because the warden never smelled you or heard you, but your chests could have had a special enchantment you only get in the ancient city as well as other good ones.

There are more chests in the city, some of them have amazing loot, some of them don’t, when I explored two ancient cities, i left one with 6 god apples and the best armor trim in the whole game (silence), but in the other one I left with just diamond hoes and soul torches, so you can either be lucky or unlucky. Also im glad that you came back 🫡

Hiii bree. I would like to give you some simple pointers on the deep dark and in particular, the ancient cities. 1)Deep Dark: The Deep Dark is ALWAYS under mountains. MOUNTAINS are level y ≥100 (at least for bedrock) The primary blocks of this biome are the Sculk, Sculk Catalyst, Sculk Sensor, and Sculk Shrieker. -Sculk sensor: If the sensor hears ANY player movement or interaction (any sound based actions like eating, drinking, running, walking, jumping, placing blocks, shooting from a bow etc), it picks up the sound. If there's a shrieker nearby, it alerts it IMMEDIATELY if there is NO WARDEN. Sound sensing of the sensor is through ALL DIRECTIONS. If you have a sculk sensor in front of you, and you jump or walk to it, the sound will be picked off from the movement of your feet to the sensor, setting off the sensor. If there is a sculk sensor ABOVE you, the sound will travel upwards and THROUGH THE BLOCK IT'S STANDING ON and alerting the sensor. Remember this when looting the ancient cities -Wool Usage: Sound travels through blocks that are NOT wool. If you walk on wool, you will not be heard AT ALL (even if you aren't crouching). Running on wool is PERFECTLY FINE, as long as you do not BUMP INTO A NON-WOOL BLOCK, take fall damage or do any outside-movement activity (like eating/shooting a bow). -Sculk Family: Sculk blocks are MADE OF SOULS. Souls of those that DIED NEAR IT. If you kill a mob near a catalyst, the experience would be absorbed by the catalyst and convert nearby blocks into SCULK. All sculk blocks GIVE OFF XP WHEN BROKEN. Sculk blocks, sculk sensors, sculk catalysts, sculk shriekers give off XP when broken. The XP comes from the souls that died and had their XP absorbed. The ideal tool to break sculk efficiently is a HOE(1). 2) Ancient Cities -Ancient cities are massive, and ALWAYS include the following OP loot: 1) Sculk blocks 2)Enchanted Apples 3) Swift Sneak Books 4) Diamond Leggings 5) Diamond HOES(1: Sculk gives off XP, and hoes break sculk the fastest. Imagine using a diamond hoe for XP collection) 6) Various enchanted books (OP ones include Fortune III, Prot IV, Thorns III, Fire Aspect, MENDING, POWER III etc)

Ah, the ancient cities. There’s a chance to find some pretty good loot in there but a lot of it is up to chance. Everything from enchanted golden apples to the rarest armor trim in the game. Makes sense since the Warden is arguably the strongest mob in the game. Some tips for the shriekers: You have three strikes and then the fourth strike summons the warden. You have a 10 minute window where you can lose a strike if you haven’t set off any more shriekers in that time. Best to sneak at all times possible and bring A LOT of wool with you (using the wool in the city can help too but the grey blends in too much because of the color palette). I find it best to get rid of the shriekers themselves and make sure that the sound of them breaking can’t be transmitted by any nearby sensors to another shrieker(s). The swift sneak enchantment, which can only be found in these cities, also helps in raiding them faster.

Did you know you could set up a Redstone clock with a piston or door to trap the Warden they will not move unless you attack them or spawn another warden.

You need the night vision potion to see better. You have to destroy the shriekers with a hoe.

Venturing into dangerous places, it may be time to start using Ender Chests. Craft with 8 obsidian around an Ender Eye. They need a silk touch pickaxe to pick up. As many as you make, they all share the same inventory per player. Makes for safe storage / virtual additional inventory space. For more music discs, they drop from creepers when killed by a skeleton, In a bastion remnant (nether) you can find the music disc 'Pigstep', the place is considerably more dangerous than the deep dark. The places to brush have a different texture than the normal sand/gravel. Warm ocean biomes water have a slightly different color and tend to be full of Coral blocks (Coral dies unless it is picked up by a silk touch pickaxe, it also dies if placed somewhere that is not in or next to a water source block). Look around generated structures for 'Sus' sand and 'Sus' gravel.

For doing archeology you need to find structures that have suspicious sand and suspicious gravel, i think the structures are underwater ruins that can be found in oceans and desert temples, but you have yo be careful, the sussy sand and gravel can be broken by accident and then you get no loot, search a tutorial just in case

I don't know if you want hints, or if you want to find stuff out on your own, so... Little "spoiler"/back seat warning: You seem to not pay attention to the enchanted books in the chests, which can be used to enchant your gear. But maybe you DID look and it was just the editing.

u should use wools not carpet also use wools to surround the shriekers and then break them i am sure it wont spawn the warden

Second comment here: definitely explore the world further, since the update you world was updated, except for the chunks you had already explored. So go further away and find places you hadn’t gone to before and the new features will start showing up. Then you need to find suspicious sand/gravel to brush. They are different then regular sand but have a distinct “off” look to them. Then You try and find ruins, they will look like small chucks of terracotta sticking out of the ground. They are found in Jungle, spruce and taiga forest, and old growth birch forest (the tall birch trees) they all have sus gravel. The sus sand is in the desert wells and desert pyramids. You can to dig out a large buried ruins (they are really big). Watch for suspicious sand and suspicious gravel as you uncover it brush them off and get the treasure that’s inside like sticks wooden hoe, emerald diamonds, pottery shards (these are really cool I think! You can make big pot out of the shards and they are great for decorating) and the best to find is armor trims, these are really cool, they let you decorate your armor! You should duplicate the trims though because once you use on a piece of armor it’s gone, so you want to make a duplicate so you have more. You can then decorate designs on your armor with a bunch a patterns and colors by adding diamonds, amethyst, quartz, emerald, lapis, iron etc. Use the Smithing Table to add the trims and use the gems for the patterns on your armor. There are also in the ocean small and large ocean ruins have the suspicious sand and you have to go under water to use the brush. Water breathing potion is best for this! You can find the Sniffer eggs in an warm ocean ruin. Warm ocean exist next to warm places like deserts and jungles and they have corals and reefs in them. Cold oceans also have ruins and treasure but not the Sniffer egg.
