Hey Bree! I found your channel a few days ago and have been binge watching your minecraft series. I have a few tips for you: 1. The hay bales in the villages can be crafted into wheat (9 wheat each block), which you can use to get bread 2. If you want to do something underwater, you can use doors to create air pockets so you don't drown 3. Click on F3 to get coordinates and note down the coordinates of any places you might want to revisit 4. Bring a bed with you when you're going to dangerous places so you can respawn close to the area you died 5. Save potions and items that will be useful for any big fights (like the ender dragon)

Since you switched to Java, you must understand the differences. In Java, there's a different combat style. You have to wait for the cooldown to fight the mob again; you can't just spam it. Next is bridging. In Java, you can't place blocks in front like in Bedrock. So be careful; you might fall if you don't know the difference. Press Shift and click to instantly craft all the numbers of items you want

In Java all items can be held in the offhand, incldung wheat and other animal lures. They still perform their function when in the offhand. Remember there is a key to swap hands as well.

Sorry you lost your old world. I've been there and it sucks. But now you get a chance to build a whole new Soup Empire.

Contrary to bedrock, Java edition has the F3 screen giving you a lot (way too much, really) extra informations about your surroundings. You can find the coordinates of the block you're standing on and the block you're pointing, your coordinates within a chunk, the name of the biome you are in (most of them have variants that can be missed otherwise, like Birch forest and Old growth birch forest), and many others. There also exist combinaisons of F3 + another key toggling on and off certain infos, like F3+B shows hitboxes around all entities (can be used to track mobs or any item on the ground), F3+G shows chunk borders, and F3+H shows advanced details for your tools (how many times you can use them before they break). Sound subtitles are also a thing in Java. On the right, they will print exactly which sounds your character is earing, which can make it easier to identify them, or simply know they are here if you couldn't hear them for a reason or another. To activate them, you first need to press escape to access pause menu, then settings, then accessibility settings, and finally look for subtitles and switch them to "ON". Beginning a new world after you lost a nice one and had so much things you wanted to do in it it's frustrating, it happened to me :/ But don't worry, Minecraft it's a game that is always fun, just do whatever you want to do and you'll enjoy your time playing :D

If you spot an Azalea tree on the surface (has flowers, but isn't the cherry) that means that somewhere below are Lush Caves.

Like others have mentioned, u can’t spam hit anymore during combat in Java. There’s a cooldown between hits (there’s an indicator that shows up under the crosshair). Also, u can try getting used to jump hitting enemies (critical hits), it does more damage than just hitting. You strike enemies as u come down from a jump 🙂

In java there is a cooldown when hitting mobs, if you spam click you kill mobs more slower, axes do more damage than swords but have an slower cooldown, also swords have like a sweep attack, basically you can hit multiple mobs at the same time with a sword

I believe in just one episode here you have achieved way more than you did in the previous world for the same amount of time. You did learn a lot!

You can cook logs in the furnace to get charcoal, which can be used instead of coal.

This also happened to me before, I may have started from scratch, but I honestly somehow pulled a hard work on it. I know that it is frustrating to lose your progress in the old world, but I believe that you can do much more better than those in your modern world.

Oh no! No wonder I hadn’t seen new videos from you. It can be hard to start over. I once lost a world I’d been in for over an year. I didn’t play for a few months, but I have another nice world now. Starting over can be fun though. Java is a very different feel then Bedrock, be careful as you get use to it. 😊

I like Bedrock better than Java. The only thing I like about Java over Bedrock is you can place a door under water to breathe. You can't do that in Bedrock.

I don’t know if anyone said this one, but on java, passive mobs like cows and sheep are very very very slow to respawn. Try not to kill everything, and breed them sooner rather than later.

If you want to place a block on the air in front of you, crouch while you place it so you won't fall off. People saying it isn't possible, well it is possible, just a different technique. Crouch, sneak to the edge and then place it.

Oh, you need bamboo for scaffolding.

To prevent something like that happening again i recommend you to make backups of your worlds, just go to edit and press the make backup button and it will automatically create a backup

your new house looks so good already! and it's just the first episode in Soupland 2.0 try jumping and attacking while you're going down for critical hits

Another thing I just remembered, but will only come in handy in a reasonably late game, is you can actually build on the Nether roof in Java edition. There is a rather easy way to climb on it using ladders and enderpearls that you can find on tutorials. However you should never be going there if you don't have the materials to build an exit portal. Once you're up there, you'll find yourself in a vast area with a flat bedrock floor. Monsters do not spawn on Bedrock (although endermen may still teleport up there) so you can actually control where you want mobs appearing by placing spawnable blocks. It's especially useful for some farm designs, alike hoglin farm, that produces a ton of food and leather. You can also use it for a safe nether travelling whenever you find a good biome far away from your home, although portal linking might have you lose your mind 😅 There also is a glitch allowing you to break bedrock from above, that is however quite tricky to perform. It has the advantage to let you access the roof easily rather than using a pearl everytime 😅

I don't think this would help anymore (given how long it's been) BUT if something like this happens in the future (a file being suddenly deleted and you need it back) what you can do is, as quickly as you can, use a program like Recuva and it'll look through the deleted files of your computer and, if you're lucky, you may find the entire file still intact. Might still be worth trying now. The tl;dr of why this works is that when you delete something off of your computer, it's not actually deleted, the data that makes up the file is just internally marked that it can be overwritten whenever some other file needs to use the space. Imagine having a bit of land with a house on it and selling the land to someone else, until they actually bulldoze the house to put something else in it's place, the house is still there. So until something else writes over where your file once was, the file(s) is usually still there. I've made some regrettable or unintentional deletes over the years and Recuva has saved me a few times, though I'm sure there's better programs out there. Hope you have fun on Java! I'd say it's a more enjoyable version of the game ^^

You started off this new world so much better than your last,……….. until you got lost.

hold shift to craft a more and not just 1, note down the coordinates so u dont get severely lost, u can see them by clicking f3 and they will be on the left, u need an area thats 5 wide for a max enchanting setup, because bookshelves need to be 1 block away from the table, u need 15 bookshelves total to max the enchant table. Nether fortress has a higher chance to spawn in a positive quadrant so travel in a straight line either positive x or z, while checking the surrounding area, stop if u see a bastion since that uses the same algorithm to spawn.

if you're looking for a nice low-end shaderpack i reccomend skylex, it runs even better than yofps (the shader i presume you're using) and it looks beautiful

God where do I even start. Why do you pay for one block when you already own minecraft? Why do you switch accounts for different worlds? Why are you not just using curse forge? How would the one block world file even replace your world file ? Did you name both worlds the same name and then accept a folder replacement? Even then your device would explicitly ask you if you want to replace the folder or files within the folder, there is no way a folder in your AppData files would be randomly altered. There are just so many questions like pretty damn hard to even get there deleting your own world file by accident.
