Hey Bree, I'm absolutely loving these videos! Villagers can not trade you nether wart. You can only find nether wart in most nether fortresses, and some bastions. If you go looking for a bastion, I must warn you that Piglin Brutes live in them. They are similar to piglins, but they hold an axe and deal much much damage. Unlike regular Piglins, they cannot be fooled by the player wearing gold armour. I would recommend taking extreme caution and bringing a lava bucket to pour onto them because if you hit them, all the regular Piglins will attack you (opening chests will also anger them). Another tip: I would highly recommend you first trade with Piglins to get some of their potions of fire resistance. This will greatly increase your chance of survival because it is very easy to burn or fall in lava in the nether. You may need much gold in order to trade with them, so you can find a lot of nether gold ore around. Fun fact: If you mine nether gold ore with a pickaxe enchanted with Silk Touch, you can cook the nether gold ore blocks in a furnace to get entire gold ingots instead of nuggets. I wish you luck if you attempt this! Be cautious!

Obviously you have started your realm which I enjoyed watching your live stream of, but I’m unsure if you have started the build competition as of yet. As rewards, it could be in game gifts rather than things that cost you money. Like you owe them one favour, or you will make a build for them, or assist them with a task they want to do, those kind of things. That’s the kind of rewards I have seen in other Minecraft series. People who are excellent at red stone offer help with a red stone contraption, builders offer buildings or landscaping, fighters offer help with the wither or dragon or warden. But as long as you are comfortable with what you offer that’s the main thing. I reckon most players would participate just for the fun of it even if there is no prize. People do like to be told they are the best at something.

On google there are 2 main sites I’ve heard of and even the experienced players use them for circles. Donat and Plotz.

If you do another one of these type of videos, I think you should deduct points for builds that are done on creative mode. It’s normally the ones that are built on super flat worlds which have no trees etc. creative can be used in normal worlds also so it’s not always easy to tell for sure but being able to build extravagant builds on survival mode deserves a lot more appreciation imo.

One of your ‘favourite’ places has the best armour trim. The trim is called Silence. I’m thinking you’ll be able to guess where you can find it. You might want to set up an automated sheep sheering farm for your next visit.

The blue fungus that scares away the hoglins, you can attach that to a fishing rod in the crafting menu. Then use that to direct the lava striders and you can roam the nether looking for fortresses or bastions. Just need to saddle them up and point the rod where you want them to go. You can do the same with pigs but it’s a carrot on a fishing rod.

I can’t wait to see you end busting. Make sure your bridging skills are well rehearsed.

You’re a brave girl. At least 2 stacks of torches is needed for a mansion. You need to light up all the dark places. It may look light in some rooms, but at nighttime it spawns lots of mobs. With vindicators I try to tower up 3 blocks and hit them from above. The evokers you need to rush attack before they spawn vexs. The first floor is entry level. The second floor gets harder. The 3rd floor is a tough challenge for most players, even some of the so called best. There’s plenty of hidden rooms and chests. There are obvious doorways filled in with planks, they usually have mobs and a chest in them. There are some rooms with no obvious way in, but if you can look through the windows, you can sometimes find them. The chest rooms are decoys. All those chests are empty. But good to get free chests. I always head straight in the front door and behind the main staircase. Light it up, place a bed and set my spawn and maybe even put a chest there with spare gear. Then clear it room by room then floor by floor.

Since you’re on Java now you should learn about the F3 menu. You can aim at a sapling and see what stage of growth it is at. And you can aim at a block and a see what the light level is. There is so much information on Java that bedrock doesn’t have.

Diorite, or as most minecrafters know it, bird poop. Anytime you are filling up a space with water, if you start at ‘block 1’ and then ‘block 3’, ‘block 2’ automatically fills. Then you can take from ‘block 2’ and put it in ‘block 5’ then take from ‘block 4’ and put it in ‘block 7’ and so on. As long as you don’t remove from the odd number blocks, they’ll always refill the even number blocks. It’s a lot quicker than running back to the original infinite water source. If you are filling up a deep area with water, cover the full space with dirt, 1 block down. Once it’s full of water, remove the dirt and it automatically fills every space below as a water source rather than running down. You can plant mushrooms at night and bonemeal them to grow.

You can definitely get those trapdoors working together both ways. I’m not an expert on redstone but if you can run redstone dust behind the cobblestone on both sides that might work. If you used sticky pistons there’s ways to use the same planks as your floor and have it open up like a secret door. There will definitely be tutorial videos on KZfaq for either design. I think on top of your portal it should’ve been 3 full blocks then the middle one gets a slab to make it slightly higher. Then your spires can go on the 2 outside blocks. When you chop trees, if you remove every log, the leaves will disintegrate unless they are touching the leaves of another tree. Sometimes 1 log can be hiding behind leaves but if you see one leaf disappears, the rest should follow. When you asked about certain saplings not growing, it depends on the tree, but if the leaves of a tree are blocking where the ungrown ones leaves would go, the sapling won’t grow. Cheery blossom and acacia grow in funny shapes so they need more space than others. Jungle, dark oak, and spruce saplings can be placed in a 2x2 square and make super trees. They’re great for collecting lots of wood. You should probably leave a 8 block gap between most saplings.

I’m not sure if you follow hermitcraft but docm77 and mumbo jumbo are both excellent for seeing mind blowing redstone contraptions. Grian, geminitay, pearlescent moon, goodtimewithscar and quite a few others are excellent for stunning builds. Your house here looks great. With every build you’ll learn from your mistakes. I lost my first ever world because of corrupted data but I still remember every build in it. I’ve made better builds since, but no other world has felt like I wanted to stay in it and keep playing after I beat the end game. P.S. I felt your rage with those creepers. 🤬 🤣

30 feltiching tables and you decide to go searching for flint to make arrows. You can sell feltchers sticks for emeralds and then buy arrows from them. It’s all a learning curve though and I’ve enjoyed every minute so far. I feel bad for you at times when you lose your stuff or levels but your reactions and attitude are awesome.

Not sure why this showed up on my recommended but I’ve binged every episode so far and it’s hilarious. Your reactions to blocks, mobs, deaths, and scenery is brilliant. Your errors aren’t brilliant but they make for good content. There’s tons of experienced players on KZfaq. Finding genuinely new players and seeing them develop is just as good as watching the others. Might be better actually.

Some tips to help. In Java edition, you can press F3 to view the debug screen, where you will find your coordinates. Unfortunately I’ve never seen you press it to find your directions. In the nether, leave a block that is different, like cobblestone stands out against the netherrack and other nether blocks as a trail to help you find your way back. Also don’t build your bridges out of blocks that can be exploded by ghasts, explodable blocks like netherrack, soul sand, wood, etc are not a good idea. Build them out of cobblestone or blackstone. The nether fortress gives you nether wart and importantly blaze rods, which are used for potion brewing and craft eyes of ender, you need 12 to unlock the end portal in the stronghold. Blaze rods into blaze powder, combined with ender pearls crafts eyes of ender. Bastions are to help find the smithing template to upgrade to netherite gear. Technically you can beat the dragon with diamond enchanted armor. Also I noticed you don’t have a bow. Get a power IV bow with infinity, that will take out mobs like skeletons, blaze and ghasts. Also some inventory management helps, not sure why you brought seeds and eggs to the nether. And watch the hunger bar, as it needs to be quite full to ensure your hearts regenerate. Also look up the Minecraft wiki page, there’s tons of stuff there that helps.
