Allays will only pick up items dropped on the ground. They won't magically spawn things, but you can get them to pick up saplings while getting wood for example.

For the Allays, make sure they hold an item or they will fly away and get lost. they stay if holding an item. You can get more Allays. They duplicate if you hand them amethyst crystals while they dance. Play music disc in a jukebox to make them dance. Also they only pick up items dropped on the ground. if you mine blocks they will pick them up for you. Or hand them like a sapling and they'll fetch them for you as they drop from cutting trees.

I would recommend bringing a good bow next time you go to the mansion. Taking out the axe guys at a distance is easier than in melee. You can also try bringing a bell if you don't like not being able to see where they are.

VINDICATORS: You mentioned wanting to know how to fight the Vindicators. The best way honestly is with ranged attacks. Kill them before they get to you with your bow. If they do hit your shield with their axe, it does disable it for a few seconds, so you need to stay mobile if you end up in melee range. But if you want to take them on safely, just tower up 3 blocks. They won't be able to reach you, but you can reach them! You asked what you can find and if it's worth it. EVOKERS: There is a very dangerous mob called an Evoker inside. It summons these nasty little flying demons that come at you and hit hard. Don't screw around, get to the Evoker fast and kill it before it can summon too many little fliers. The Evoker drops a rare item called the Totem of the Undying. If you hold one in your hand (or off hand) and die, instead of dying, you stay alive with a 1/2 heart. TREASURE: Also in the Woodland Mansion, dig inside the statues they put up of random stuff. Sometimes you can find gold blocks. There's even a potential hidden room in some mansions that have a diamond block!!

"Illagers" are a category of mobs, Pillagers are illagers with crossbows and vindicators and evokers are illagers that live in the mansions. All of them can appear in a raid

You’re a brave girl. At least 2 stacks of torches is needed for a mansion. You need to light up all the dark places. It may look light in some rooms, but at nighttime it spawns lots of mobs. With vindicators I try to tower up 3 blocks and hit them from above. The evokers you need to rush attack before they spawn vexs. The first floor is entry level. The second floor gets harder. The 3rd floor is a tough challenge for most players, even some of the so called best. There’s plenty of hidden rooms and chests. There are obvious doorways filled in with planks, they usually have mobs and a chest in them. There are some rooms with no obvious way in, but if you can look through the windows, you can sometimes find them. The chest rooms are decoys. All those chests are empty. But good to get free chests. I always head straight in the front door and behind the main staircase. Light it up, place a bed and set my spawn and maybe even put a chest there with spare gear. Then clear it room by room then floor by floor.

Yeah, I consider mansions as an end game challenge. I don't go there until I have everything maxed out. I even bring the stuff to maya few iron golems. They are great to hold the choke points.

“…5, maybe 6..” This part was so funny because in my mind I was like “Oh sweet summer child. It’s more like over a dozen and they are very dangerous”. Last time I died in a Woodland Mansion it was like almost 10,000 blocks away from my spawn point. The journey to recover my stuff was a long one. Funnily enough, your block placing method of infiltrating the mansion is what I did the first time I raided a piglin bastion in the nether.

Btw Bree always be mindful to always wear your full armor set, check if you wear it, because i saw when you pick up that chestplate when you died you just kept it in your inventory 😆 and always use the enchanted sword not the stone. Always be prepared with good gear on and better weapons when fighting, throw those stone tools away it'll confuse you 😂, you got sharpness 2 and looting sword

The Vex armor trim is indeed pretty ugly, but I guess it fits an illager's hostile personality C:

FYI you can make copies of any armor trim by using the trim template, the material it's made of (e.g. cobblestone for the vex trim) and 7 diamonds. This comes in handy for the rarer trims you may run into later on (e.g. in Ancient Cities). But I'd advise not to do this with the coastal trim (found in sunken ships) as that one is fairly common and a total waste of 7 diamonds. You can use a lot of different materials for trim colors. Amethyst shards, all ingots, redstone dust, lapis lazuli, diamonds, emeralds, and nether quartz. Try some combinations out to get a feel for which colors you like. ☺

This was a great episode and I'm impressed that you have found a woodland mansion so easily without a map from that location. To be honest finding one woodland mansion in Minecraft literally took me 4 hrs to find it in the dark oak forest

Great video yet again! I’ve never done a Woodland Mansion before, too scared lol. I do love trading with villagers though, you have to figure out a good way of trading for emeralds and then leveling up for tools weapons and armor and enchanted books. It gets really good as up level up the villagers!

Allays can't mine, so if you give them cobblestone or other blocks, they won't be able to collect that for you. But, drops from mobs, such as eggs from chickens or saplings from trees you've chopped down, they can bring to you. They will follow you as long as they're holding one of your gifts, but will leave you if they aren't.

I think this is a good lesson on how to utilize bed properly. Rip Allay. I think its better just to bring crafting table and crafting materials for tools. craft them only if you need them rather than filling your inventory with extra swords and pickaxes. Btw I suggest searching for the desert biomes, save the mansion for later project 😊.
