Now I think I might see a few reasons why the Inquisition is attacking one of the Grey Wardens fortresses: 1. All the Grey Wardens there are under the control of either Corypheus or the Architect(who I am suspecting now might actually be one of the other 3 magisters but has lost his memories and and only regained his senses a century ago, cuz he and Corypheus look similar in their twisted forms). 2. The Wardens at that Fortress are actually going rouge and tries to use the new Warden power for their own good. 3. Avernus have turned back to using blood magic experiments on Grey Wardens, and since he summoned and tried to control demons in the past at soldiers peak, the inquisition is suspecting him to be the one responsible for tearing the veil open and orders the Wardens to give him to them, which they refuse since his discoveries and experiments have made the Wardens benefit greatly from them in their battles against darkspawn, and thus the attack on the fortress

A cool possible character to see would be a son/daughter of a Tevinter magister. Growing up in a place where magic rules but questions the moral/ethical implications of such rule would be unique to see. For Friendship he/she would see what his father and predecessors did as wrong and wants to change Tevinter for the better, for rivalry his/her sense of mage superiority is emboldened and embraced to which he'll support magic domination around Thedas

Could it be possible that the Venatory are in fact followers of Corypheus? He was, or still is, a Tevinter Magister so he would seek to gather up worshipers of the old gods within the Tevinter Imperium. A second idea is that the Venatory are simple fanatics of the Old Gods or raiders bent on profiting from the chaos of the war. Another thing that can be noted is the fact that Corypheus is just as dangerous like an Archdemon is. He even made Anders loose control at some point in the Legacy DLC; even a Grey Warden Bethany or Carver will complain about his whispers or words. He could be the reason why the Grey Wardens are silent all of the sudden and why the Inquisition has the possibility of attacking their keeps with the accusation that they could be "brain washed" by Corypheus.

I am very conflicted about assaulting a grey wardens stronghold if it is avoidable, I sure as hell will avoid an assault

Seriously, I didn't even think about Corypheus' soul possessing Larius/Janeka after I killed him. While I played DA:2 multiple times, I only played Legacy once, and that one time I sided with Larius. I just thought Larius was free of Corypheus' influence or something. After having read the wiki, I think it's a lose/lose situation with Corypheus. But here's where I'm confused - an archdemon "killed" by a non Grey Warden supposedly inhabits the nearest Darkspawn, as it would die in a human body, taint or no (right? I mean, that's why the Grey Warden dies when s/he strikes the killing blow, isn't it?). But conversely, Corypheus is no normal Darkspawn, so that may not be the case. I hope the lore will be cleared up a bit if Corypheus does in fact show up in future games. I'm super confused, now.

I really hope that the enemies hiding behind shields in DAI aren't spammed like they were in ME3. It always annoyed me that the super evil guys who keep killing people spend more time behind a shield than actually trying to fight me, but were somehow an equal force against the Alliance. Feels out of place, imo. At least the Warrior gets that chain throw thing to lower it for a short time. I also wonder if Rogues still get the "teleporting" backstab, or if they nerfed it to maybe you need to actually use the Stealth ability and walk around them, or simply use ally Threat to your advantage. Another thing that bugged me was Stealth slowing movement speed, but in DA2 you have things like Backstab, Back-to-back, and Vendetta that Stealth and instantaneously appear behind someone, while the actual Stealth ability still slows you down. If anything, it appears people speed up in Stealth. I stopped using Stealth altogether in DA2 cuz it's bugged on PS3 (Not entirely sure the % of it not working is), and it just feels obsolete. Mages will probably have a few ways of getting past the Shields, such as Blink (which may as well be teleporting, but is really just super speed). I don't know if it's called Blink or not, but it's already been shown in use by Vivienne. I also hope that Paralyze comes back. Might be able to freeze the shield and have a warrior break it? Or, a Force Mage (or perhaps Wind as an elemental type, with possibilities of toggling Push or Pull with Force abilities like Revenants did, maybe even Whirlwind that certain Shades had as the Elemental Storm with Wind) might be able to simply pull it away permanently.

The books are great

Panahedan ashe, and i loved the video as always. Im still confused as to where the story is leading personally. From the events of DA2 (which i absolutely loved even though everyone else seemed to hate) we know that there is most sure to be a war brewing. So if hawk was a mage, he most likely sided with anders (if you were a pure mage that is, which i am) and fled from kirkwall. Or if you sided templars then you could have potentially ran kirkwall as the viscount, which is a HUUUGE difference. I heard one of the devs say this (not quoting that is) the canon of the first dragon age will be the warden coming from the dalish and female. This means that the only real possibilities are that she became queen of fereldan and wife to alistair, or she sacrificed herself. There are others but these being the main. That being said.. Wtf is hawke? Was he mage or templar? Will changing this canon have big impact on the story? because i surely hope so. Also.. shale?? I heard mention that a dwarf from DAI may be a descendant from shales family. There are sooo many gaps here and there that im thoroughly excited for the E3, which i have NOT been the past 5 years. With all the holes here is what i WANT to see. First i want the qunari to be more prominent. Also i want religion to affect the damn canon.. this has been a huge hole in both titles. If you were templar then whatever, noone really cared if you ran around with a maleficarum or not.. Isnt that.. ya know.. bad? Also.. MALEFICARUM! I want blood mages and rogue mages have more affect on the damn story. If your slinging blood magic (if its even possible, necro looks promising) i want the templars in your group if at all, to mention it at the very least. And corypheus.. this changed the whole story.. it proves the chantry correct.. THATS HUUUUGE. That means that there was once a group of dragons sitting on a mountain LAUGHING at the idiot humans who were worshiped. And Dumat was like "haha check this out guys. ahem HUMANS ENTER THE GOLDEN CITY.... *giggle* do you think they will succeed?" Then when the corruption was tossed back into the real world they were all like O.O... o fuck.. Then they fled. And went.. where? Tossed into the earth? Made to slumber? There was several accounts as to what happened to them. The elves homeland of arlathas was sunken into the ground. What ancient magic did they have? WILL we uncover their homeland in this game? What about the ancient Thaigs? These predate the dwarven stories by ages, so what are they and who made them, and what happened to them? SO MANY QUESTION! I CANT WAIT FOR THIS DAMN GAME Sorry for length, i love your vids ashe and i would be MOST grateful for any response :D Opinions are most welcome.

The final question to ask among the factions is who will benefit the most when thedas is plunged into chaos? Any guesses?

Ok one thing that has been bothering me for some time now is the piece of the lyrium statue that you give to Varric. Since Varric is gonna be a main companion in DA:I I really don't want to do anything that will hurt him or mess up his mind in DA:I. Which decision is better, give him the piece or don't give him? The Dragon Age 2 story doesn't make much sense to me. I wonder what kind of impact Hawke has on the story as a whole. I have always consider Hawk to be the main villain in DA3. Man I Love the game but I wish they explain already what happen to the baby and in Origins the warden falls in love with Morrigan and she with him and they even did a DLC where you go look for her and can decide to kill her or go with her. So is she still in love with the warden or they both have been training the baby because the truth is it would suck a lot if there is no love between the warden and morrigan

I would love to see circle mage Bethany on the side of the libertarians, if there's an option to choose which mage faction to join the inquisition its libertarian all the way.

As for the Orlesian War, I still can't decide who to side with. While I do appreciate the cultural renaissance Celene has done for humans and elves, I wouldn't trust her to watch my back as she could easily stab it for her own interests. And Gaspard's code of honor seems respectful and I could trust his word but I'm against his drive to "return Orlais to its former glory"
