I was so excited to see you sewing on everything!! I’m 63 years old. I used to sew constantly when my kids were little and growing up. I just ordered my first sewing machine in probably 25 years or more, yesterday. I ordered it to play with in my journal making. So it was fun to see what you differently with each pocket and tuck. Can’t wait to play with it!! Lol

Omgosh, when you said you were going to throw out the painted under paper from painting your journal, I was like Nooooo! lol Those papers are some of my favorite for collages and die cutting; it makes them so unique. The glue trick was really funny; I laughed out loud. What a mess aye? So many ideas on the little tucks and pockets. The corrugated paper glued on the edge of one page has turned out just lovely. So many great ideas and your really making hay with the recycled rubbish. Good tutorial.

This was fun to watch. My great grands and I love to watch Tinkerbell . The stories are so cute. They color pages and I'm going to keep them in my journal I'm making to keep their things they make for me. Years from now they can look back and see what they have made and laugh. Love your work.

Several years ago I made a Fairy Journal for my penpal (she’s in Ireland and we became penpals when we were about 14 yrs old). Anyway i loved the journal I made her. I still have paper left in the paper pack and now watching your journal today I want to make me one. I love your ideas today especially the one with the velum. I have pressed flowers out of my flower garden and now know what to do with them. TFS Barbara. You always inspire me! ❤️

This journal is turning out so cute! I so look forward to seeing it all finished. Oh, the glue and the lace! I've decided that if Joie does something with lace it will never turn out the same way for me. I have to go in with that thought and then, when it turns out completely different, I tell myself that I've just "modified" her technique! lol

Tolles Video, wie immer! Und auch ich finde es schön, ein nicht ganz so "typisches" Fairy Journal zu sehen :) Dieser natürliche Look gefällt mir sogar fast besser als das übliche rosa, verträumte... (Im Übrigen sind meine Feen-Stanzen doch tatsächlich winziger, als ich dachte.... 🤣 ) In den Nachrichten hörte ich gestern, u.a. Wien sei nun im strengeren Shutdown inkl. Ausgangssperre... The first book I bought to take apart was "The complete book of flower fairies" by Cicely Mary Barker, if you need anything scanning from it, I'd be happy to do so. It has poems and the drawings are beautiful. I couldn't damage it, I just photo copy bits from it. Also it has boy fairies who are so cute.

I had to stop your video half-way through....I am blown away by all you are doing. I think you are getting better and better, and I already thought you were perfect. You have so many ideas that I would never have figured out. I already love this journal!! (well...I don't like fairies to be honest, but I will overlook that theme as you don't have many fairy items in the journal planned) BTW: there is no such thing as fairies! sorry if that comes as a surprise to some. :)

Amazing journal, as usual, my dear 😘 !!! Eventhough I was quite surprise to see that you haven't highlighted your cover (those lovely fairy features) with some... copper gilding was... 😜 As a matter of fact, I was waiting for that 😉 Lol... #JustKidding (You probably know, here, in the Middle East, we love our mixture of turquoise (and all sorts of blues) & metals. This color group (the blues) represents good luck and brings blessing & protection, which is always needed, especially these days! XOXO

Do you show how you get the gold spots on your coffee dyed papers and doilies? I love when you added the stamps in the next video onto those papers.

The glue on the back of the hand I have seen before except they spread it out with a card, then put the lace in it!!

I love watching your videos!!! You have a great sense of humor! How old does a book have to be before you can scan and copy the pages without getting into trouble?

Thanks Ann! It’s different per country. Here the author has to have died and you have to wait at least 70 years after his/her death. Not always so easy to figure out. In the US the laws are different. I’m sure you can easily giggle it.

@@49dragonflies I certainly don’t mean this in a negative way, but I got such a kick out of your reply to Ann’s question. In her comment she mentioned your sense of humor, and then the typo in your response to giggle it to get an answer just made me smile. 🙃
