The Mother some of us never had-one that would smile when they saw you, give hugs or say a word of encouragement. I broke that cycle in my own family. My grown Sons always knew each of them was my favorite 💕❤️😂, and I loved them unconditionally. They rewarded me with academic scholarships to state universities, and then degrees from them. Now two of them are married. One left to go.💪🏼. But each knows they are precious. ❤️

Do not resist anxiety or try to get rid of it. Resisting it makes it worse. Meditate and face it by feeling exactly how it feels in the body and where. Invite it and look at it/ feel it with precision and you’ll see that it would disappear. It’s asking to be fully seen and felt and magic happens afterwards. It’s hard, but with practice it gets easier to meet it and transcend it. I wish you the best, you’re a beautiful soul.

I have struggled with depression since I was 8yrs old. Darkness seemed to slip in on one family holiday trip to Massachusetts. I can remember when it started so clearly. I am 60 now and I still have to fake it till I make it. And getting out the door can be a right challenge in itself. I pray for rainy days so I do not have to feel guilty for staying in. But there is the trick I am now using, I have decided to not allow myself to feel guilty about the days I cannot move from my own space. When I allow myself to give in I seem to come out of it faster. I also have two wee dogs and a passion for drawing I have rekindled to help creative juices flow. That seems to help some, and I do not have to go outside to create. And you know what else, your youthful beauty still shines through, I see it in your eyes and that will never fade.

Thank you so much - and a huge well done you for listening to, tuning in to your body - and you know if it tells you that you need a day of just 'being' - the world keeps on turning - ready for when you are ok to get out there. Give yourself a pat on the back when you achieve even a short spell of creativity.Do check out my 2 recent pieces on toolkits D

I absolutely adore you. It makes me so emotional to watch you, cause I think you are the most warm, compassionate and kindhearted woman. I struggle with anxiety myself and the last helpful thing I heard during the meditation was to ask yourself: "In this moment, right now, are you okay?" It sounds so simple and not valuable, but really when I put that into practise, turns out that 99% of time, I am okay. I have a roof under my head, I ate, I am not alone in this world, I have water and the air, so I am okay. I wish you very much health, joy and peace 🤍

Numerology has taught me so much. One of the biggest is that people who have a 6 (or multiple 6s) struggle with anxiety more than those who don't. Since all numbers have positive and negative aspects, it's up to us to recognize when we need to flip the energy to positive. How do we do that? Well, the positive side of 6 is creativity and nurturing to name just two. Find a way to be creative or find someone to nurture. I've heard you mention crafting and family so it wouldn't surprise me if you have a 6. Consider it your superpower if you can redirect your energy. I've only just found your channel but I thoroughly enjoy your content. ❤

You can sort this - have you tried using affirmations? Or diversion tactics. If I have anywhere to go about which I am anxious - I make up rhymes - doesn't make sense often, but so long as it rhymes - two lines of rhyme, then a line that follows on by context - then rhyme. It really diverts those grey cells! D

Your face is eerily like my Mum’s (she passed away nearly eight weeks ago) and when you started to look emotional, I desperately wanted to reach into my‘phone and hug you. We are all here for you, you are NEVER alone. Thank you for your very valued words, you keep me going (I’m a fellow anxiety and depression sufferer) more power to your elbow, take care , you warm and lovely lady xx

quietly, patiently, reading ancient zen poetry helps my anxiety. Its because of the insight and wisdom found between the words. Take a book to a beautiful park with a packed lunch. 🌺🐝just to BE

Simply just being is a wonderful thing to do - especially out in nature - though I find that after the first couple of pages of a book - it is gently closed and set aside so that I can look, listen, touch, smell all of the things around me. Aaaahhh... D

You are a lovely lady and I think your videos must be helpful to so many. I sometimes get that feeling too, usually after I’ve eaten something my body’s allergic to. Took me a long time to realise how much my diet affected my mood. Just posting that here in case anyone finds it useful.

I love your short hair! It looks super cute! I am helping my mom as her caregiver. I keep telling my mom that she is a super trooper hanging in there as my dad passed almost two years ago.

For me i prefer to sink into my fearful or sad feelings, and understand them as best i can. Things tend to persist much longer if i run from them. And then once i understand and console my feelings, i feel more empowered to make a change either mentally or physically, that helps me feel better. Sometimes that change is as small as choosing a positive focus, but only if that feels helpful at that time 💗 be well everyone. Life can be very challenging, you deserve some gentle loving kindness

I only recently found you Dee & you truly are a beautiful, kind, warm & gentle soul. If you have children & Grandchildren, they are truly blessed to have you. I miss my lovely Mum terribly. I am struggling an awful lot with depression & horrendous anxiety (possible my age) I put an act on when I'm around people but dear god it's truly exhausting, it really is. I pray that one day I'll feel myself again but it's a long time coming sadly. It's all consuming, depression. Everything is an uphill effort & the "acting" we put on for other people. My favourite word/s when people ask is, fine, I'm fine, you? Thankyou so so much for doing what you do So pleased you feel better ❤️
