► ABOUT FAR CRY 6 🎮
Far Cry 6 takes place in the nation of Yara, roughly 50 years after the guerilla revolution overthrowing dictator at the time, President Gabriel Castillo. Because of this revolution Yara’s economy completely collapsed, and in 2014 his son Anton was elected as president, promising new economic stability with the creation of Viviro, a cancer treatment developed from Yara’s tobacco. This was Anton’s vision to “rebuild paradise.” However, Anton's methods of creating Viviro were completely corrupt, and he eventually ruled the land as a full-blown dictatorship. You play as Dani, a guerilla fighting among other revolutionists to restore order and peace to Yara by ending the Castillo reign of tyranny once and for all.

Since I was new to the whole "critic" thing when I started this channel, I wanted to start by mostly reviewing games I was very familiar with - Crash, Ratchet, and Sly being the main 3 series I grew up with, while in comparison I shared little to no exposure with Spyro and Jak. Doing videos in this way helped me understand where I get enjoyment out of my games, both from the perspective of games I am familiar with (Crash, Ratchet and Sly), and also those with unbiased new experiences (Spyro and Jak). In a way, I'm looking to this video to mark the beginning of a transition for my channel venturing into bigger, more "mature" games (and hopefully games that aren't 20 years old ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)). Of course I still have plans to tackle games from familiar franchises I've checked out like Crash Twinsanity, Ratchet Deadlocked, and Sly 4 in the first half of 2022, but as I said, it's time to start transitioning a bit and making a change with my content towards something even bigger, even better, and something I can further sink my teeth into. I really had a blast making this review! I poured my absolute heart and soul into this and had soooooo much fun! So if you enjoy I'd *really* appreciate you leaving a like. I'm an annoying old beggar I know, but those who've been here for a while know I don't upload too often, so when I do, every like, dislike, comment, share, etc. count. If I had to pick one to recommend I'd that I've played I'd probably say 6. As much as I love 5 from what I can tell it's a bit wackier than the standard Far Cry games but if that sounds more like what works for you then go for it cause I love 5 just as much if not more than 6, I still haven't really decided lol

I literally scooped far cry 3 months after it released, March 2013 is when I got it and I was hooked into that game and its villain and blood dragon released around that same time too which I loved the 80s action aesthetic. I beat 5 a couple of years ago and didn't try 4, new dawn or primal. I like the new direction you're trying to go with your channel and do newer games and that's cool you're spreading your content creator wings. Honestly I was thinking on getting far cry when it's on sale for cheap in like half a year and try it out bc I love the gunplay from these titles. The tone of this games dark though

I always hear nothing but great about Far Cry 3 and Blood Dragon, specifically 3's villain like you said so I'm really really excited to try 3 out next. And I'm glad you're open to me beginning to expand what games I get into on here! Not all of them will always be brand new but it's exciting for me to be able to explore outside the Playstation-mascot genre and get into broader titles and genres. And obviously I haven't talked about Far Cry on the channel until now but it's quickly becoming one of, if not my favorite franchise in gaming so it's really exciting for me to be able to make content on it!

Honestly when the game came out, I remember hearing on the internet how it was basically Skyrim with guns and that was a meme for a time but yeah man 3 was something else, I heard of the franchise before then but that was my introduction and made me a fan for a bit. I like how you made this vid 30 something min long and I like vids like these although I understand if people don’t have much to say every vid. Im curious to which other franchises you’ll cover now that you blew the lid open

I definitely have plenty of franchises I'd like to look at but of course the process of getting to all them will be slow since that's the nature of my upload schedule and there's still more Crash and Ratchet stuff primarily that I wanna get to

Two of my all time favorite franchises, dude I’ll be there for those vids. I recently beat ocarina of time and the first 2 kingdom hearts games after all these years of not being able to play them and I liked the game play a lot on both games. Im mostly a crash/spyro guy cause I grew up with PlayStation and ocarina of time is one of my all time favorite games now. And I didn’t get the appeal of KH until recently cause sora got into smash and I liked the gameplay

I've only played Far Cry 2 and Blood Dragon. From every review I've seen, it seems Blood Dragon was the pinnacle of Far Cry. I still enjoyed your review of 6 though.

Blood dragon is a amazing short silly game, the only time someone speaks bad about it its mostly because they tries to go stealth, and trust me loud only is the only way in that game

Here's the thing you literly played the worst titles in the series. The original slash ports remasters depending on console yea farcry 1 theres even a good sequal before the mainline entries starting with fc2 if got the right consple .then fc2 then 3 is the best and it's dlc blood dragon is like another game that's it peroid there's 3 that are good and the a few dlc for.
