► ABOUT THE GOD OF WAR TRILOGY 🎮
The God of War trilogy follows the story of Kratos, a Spartan with a dark past looking to escape it. As the young leader of the Spartan army Kratos found himself in hundreds of battles, slaughtering thousands. One fateful day it appeared he was going to meet his end, and to prevent that he called forth the God of War Ares, who granted him infinite power. The cost? His soul and everyone he ever loved. For over 10 years Kratos was tormented by his mistakes and regrets, and set out to take revenge against Ares and all the gods of Olympus once and for all.

It's been a long time coming but it's finally here, my review of the God of War Trilogy! The next video shouldn't be nearly as long a wait. I still haven't decided exactly what it'll be yet but the two candidates I've got right now are the Portal games or Shadow of the Colossus. If this video does really well though it'd be as good a time as ever to check out God of War 2018 and Ragnarok. I remember being at a friend's house and he was like dude you gotta see this game! And he put God of war into his PS2 and he wanted to show me the sex scene where you have to push buttons. That was my first exposure to God of War and I just now downloaded games 1 & 2.

You missed a thing,the gods and zeus wanted kratos dead because in a forgotten game named god of war betrayal Kratos kills ceryx the son of Hermes,he did that because he blocked his path to Chase a stranger thet kills Hera's servant argus to make her think that kratos kills him,in gow 3 hades want revenge for his love persephone and Poseidon wants Revenge for his city atlantis but hermes didnt mention anything because he never cares about his son and he never cares that his son died

This video was definitely worth the wait. I've only played God of War and God of War 2. They were quite enjoyable but I remember being disappointed by the ending of 2. I also remember being really annoyed by a puzzle in 2 where you have a limited amount of time to push a block while harpies fly in and attack you as fire tries pushing the block back. I should definitely revisit them some time.

I'm happy to hear that! That puzzle was actually the point of the game that made me drop the difficulty down before my game crashed lol. That segment was infuriating. What was disappointing about 2's ending for you?

Yo the man himself is back! I remember when the original God of war came out, g4 was hyping the fuck out of it and that time my parents wouldn't let play rated m games so I never got into the series as a kid unfortunately. However, fast forward to 2018 and I hear that the new God of war came out and I got it day one. I know I got into the series at weird time but I love that game and thanks to your funny ass retrospective, i kinda understand more the callbacks that gow 2018 was doing and now I wanna play it again knowing this information. I really wanna check out the original trilogy now

I know pretty much nothing about the newer games, from a very uneducated outside perspective they almost seem like a soft reboot of the series from what I've heard about them. I honestly somehow don't think I even knew God of War was a thing until 2018 lol

I actually mentioned in my pinned comment that I'm either gonna do a video on the Portal games or that next! I'm leaning towards Portal first to take a break from the mayhem of games like these lol but Shadow of the Colossus will definitely be one of my next videos regardless!

@@MrJarheadTV It’s a good series, it’s about a cute little yarn being named sack boy who travels across the imagisphere to stop bad guys, the games are known for allowing players to create and play their own levels. Each world feels like a homemade arts and crafts project.

I used to play it all the time back with my friends in like 2010 I'm very nostalgic for it. It's definitely something I'd like to revisit down the line as an adult cause I'm sure I'd have a whole new appreciation for it

Honestly I think that's the only one I've got planned right now. I try not to plan too far in advance since I only make a handful of videos a year but for right now I've got a variety of different genres and generations of gaming planned for the rest of the year.
